Why should the sun force him to redirect his defenses if the Kamehameha did not?

the sun did nothing to broly.

If the sun did nothing, then why did Gohan and company force Broly into the sun?

I could care less about Master Roshi.

You seem to think that the sun had nothing to do with Broly’s death. This is contrary to the movie, no matter how much you’d like to deny it.

I will continue to ask the same question until you answer it:

If the sun had nothing to do with Broly’s ultimate death, then what was the point of forcing him there?

Strength has nothing to do with it. Juggernaut’s power is in his invulnerability, granted to him by the mystical entity known as Cytorrak. Juggernaut cannot be harmed by physical force or energy blasts.

So, just like the Silver Surfer thread, I’m going to ask it again:

Was the sun necessary to kill Broli?

Classic Juggernaut has never been harmed by nuclear explosions. And while Phoenix might be able lift Juggernaut, she has never harmed him with telekinesis.

Alright, let me make sure I understand you correctly, Itachi Uchiha; you are saying that it was not necessary for Gohan to force Broly into the sun.

If that is true, then why couldn’t they kill him?

When have nukes hurt the Juggernaut? He has withstood the godforce blast, which is quite a bit stronger than a nuclear warhead.

What did the Z Fighters have to do to get through Broly’s shield?

Powers and abilities
Juggernaut is a magical avatar of the supernatural entity Cyttorak, who gained superhuman powers through the transference of mystical energies from Cyttorak via a magical gemstone, the Ruby of Cyttorak. (Because of his association with the X-Men, Juggernaut is often mistakenly labeled a mutant.) The ruby bonds to his soul and alters his being, giving him physical powers comparable to the Hulk and Thor. The Juggernaut originally possessed untold mystical power which enhanced his strength to an unknown degree and made him a seemingly irresistible, unstoppable being. He has the mystical attribute of being completely unstoppable: once he gets into motion in a given direction, no obstacle or force on Earth was able to stop him. Some obstacles, for example many tons of rock, or forces such as plasma-discharge cannons slowed his pace considerably. Only very high levels of power have stopped him from advancing. The Juggernaut is also vulnerable to certain mystic forces of sufficient strength.

Besides giving him vast superhuman strength, the mystical energy of Cyttorak gave the Juggernaut an extraordinary degree of resistance to all forms of injury. The Juggernaut could also shield himself even further from injury by mentally surrounding himself with an impenetrable force field. Enveloped by this field, the Juggernaut had been seen to survive the fiery explosion of a truck transporting a huge quantity of oil without any injury whatsoever. The Juggernaut could survive indefinitely without food, water, or oxygen thanks to his being sustained by his mystical energies alone.

When transformed into the Juggernaut, Marko wears a costume made of unidentified indestructible fabric and materials. His helmet and skullcap are constructed from an unknown metal with mystical properties which shields him from all forms of psionic attack or probes. The helmet he wears gives him protection from Charles' telepathic powers. In order for Charles to be able to affect Juggernaut, the helmet must be removed. Psylocke’s psycho blast was also able to affect him both mentally and physically.

In the past, the Juggernaut has temporarily possessed telepathic abilities and certain mystical powers, all of which he has since lost.

For a time, the Juggernaut had lost most of his power, becoming mortal again. But he has been restored to his original power levels.

Creature that catchs mjolnir... and only 110 tons...???

Of course you are aware that being temporarily stopped is not the same thing as actually being hurt. And “affected” is not the same thing as being KO’d or killed.

Now, lest we forget who’s actually fighting in this battle... back to my question about Broli:

We have established that you said the sun had nothing to do with Broly’s death and that the Z Fighters couldn’t kill Broli because of his shield.

What did the Z Fighters do to get past Broly’s shield?

Doing Kamehameha...

back to Thor power and juggernaut... so spidey could take out Thor too...??? If yes then Hank McCoy could take Thor too since only Hank McCoy could take out Spidey from jumping around... if Hank McCoy can take out Spidey which mean Wolvie could take out Thor too... So Even Colossus could take out Thor which mean Even Jubilee the teenager mutant could take out Thor too... Remember... Colossus cant withstand with Jubilee’s attacks... any suggestion or something...???
