Chords are a series of notes to form a sound.

many songs are a series of strummed chords.

I have the advantage of having my wife teach me.

She plays the guitar really well, been playing for years and years and years...so I don’t have to pay for lessons

You are pretty lucky too.

you can play the drums.....I lack the brain power to co-ordiante my self to play the drums...or dance the conga or anything like that.

Its often the little things like the capacity to dance or play the drums that people take for granted, not realising that there are some people out there that lack that ability and it can at times be humiliationg or crippling...

Not trying to attack you, just stating a point that a vast population of the world take many things for granted without realising how lucky they are
