Basically it talks about how M$ now supports Blu-ray and how Sony is talking with M$ about adding on a Blu-ray attachment. Why would Sony want to help the competition though?

1. This is a DVD format, they are not 'enemies' in this territories at all.

2. Sony will gain money form this.

3. The extra Blu-Ray players will penetrate the market more, helping Blu-Ray, thusly helping the PS3.

You may as well buy a 300$ Ps3 then.

I don’t have a HD or blu ray player. And I don’t need another console...

If Sony allows the 360 to have a blu-ray addon for the 360 then it confirms one of 2 things, both which I’ve stated:

1. It could mean that Sony doesn’t think the Blu-Ray player has anything to do with how the PS3 sales.

OR

2. It means Sony is being retarded and automatically shooting themselves in the foot by giving away their possible advantage down the road against the 360 giving it momentum to take on the Wii.

Either way I’ve said both and both are not good in anyway whatsoever. As one is arrogance and the other is greediness.

The gaming division of Sony is a very small part, and they may make more money on this then lose.
