it probably doesnt have anything for jpg but it needs it for png since they can be transparent and the browser needs to know what its rendering, its default is probably jpeg so thats why it wasnt in there

Iunno. We never had this problem before with other users. I’ve frequently switched what format I use from jpeg to gif to png and back to jpeg. And I’ve always had my avy update.
The extension changes when user uploads a file of a different type as their last avatar. Ie. if got a jpg avator my avatar image would be 1.jpg (since 1 is my user id) if I upload another avatar which is a png file it would be 1.png. The case of someone’s avator not having an extension is due to a bug which is hopefully fixed by now (ie. if they upload a new one).

Alright, awesome.
Out of curiosity... Will that affect the auto updating on the member’s rep page? Like, if the user had a jpeg before and switch to a gif.. Aww what the hell am I troubling you for. *tries it out*

Cha it did. lol
And I lost my avatar cause I didn’t have it saved on the computer. XD
I have it, lucky me.
I’ll host it and PM you the link for you to save it.
THANK YOU! *hugs*
Next time, before you pull something like that, make sure I’m there.
(BTW, I saw your message before refreshing the page, so the old avatar was still physically visible even though you had changed it. Just copied the image, loaded it into photoshop, saved it and uploaded it)
