I mean, the man is getting old, and it seems to take around 4 years or so for a next big hit movie to come out. But I haven’t heard of any news on new movies from him in a long time....

As some of you may know, Miyazaki makes THE best animated films.

Howl’s Moving Castle is prob my favorite out of all his movies...

But yeah, I hope he keeps making movies. Because it seems as if he kinda just stopped...

Um.. He’s making one right now. I remember reading about it not too long ago. Lemme go see if I can find some info on it.

In 2007, the film’s title was announced as Gake no ue no Ponyo, literally “Ponyo on a Cliff.“[6] The story is said to revolve around a five-year old boy, Sosuke, and the Princess goldfish, Ponyo, who wants to become human. Studio Ghibli President Toshio Suzuki noted that “70 to 80% of the film takes place at sea. It will be a director’s challenge on how they will express the sea and its waves with freehand drawing." The film will probably not contain any computer generated imagery, or CGI, in direct contrast to Miyazaki’s recent work.

There you have it.

Well, that’s something. Although it doesn’t seem as interesting as some of his other work. However, Miyazaki has surprised me before with his films. So it may be good.

Am I the only person who thinks his movies are boring?

I’ve seen Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle... and all I can say is “why did I watch that?".

lol.

I have around $400. But most of that I vowed not to touch. It’s California money. It’s not even in my checkbook. Nobody but me, the bank, you, and whoever else reads this thread noes I have it.

So I have like.. $60 that is spendable.

PRINCESS OF MONONOKE!

I saw part of that when it was on Toonami one time. That one I didn’t even bother sitting through the whole thing.

They just aren’t you types of movies. It’s cool, everyone likes different things.
