Yes it does and besides,Rogue doesn’t need to absorb Spiderman’s powers because she has her strength and speed to get the job done here.
She also has to catch him. He spider sense gives him an advantage in this battle. She would have to touch him in the end to have an overall advantage.
Yes but like I said before, she doesn’t need to obsorb Spidey’s powers because she doesn’t need them. She already is stronger and faster than Spiderman,if she absorbed Spiderman’s powers then
that makes the situation for Spiderman even worse.

Comic version
Rogue wins
Animated version
Hmmm but Rogue wins
Movie version
Spider-Man wins and you don’t have to be a genuis to figure
that one out
Brandon my friend there is a better way of settling this:
Let’s first look at the powers section starting off with:
Strength: Spiderman can lift 25 tons (now) and Rogue has been able to lift 80 tons so the strength factor definately goes to Rogue.
Speed: Rogue has super speed while Spiderman has enhanced speed.Spidey moves 15 times faster than a human while Rogue can move at the speed of sound, thereby the speed factor definately goes to
Rogue.
Reflexes/Agility: This of course without a doubt goes to Spiderman-Marvel’s greatest reflexed and agile hero. But this isn’t a reflex/agility contest,it’s about who wins here so Spidey’s reflexes and agility are not going to do much against someone who is faster and stronger than him.
Durability: I think this would go to Rogue, the question is if between the 2 where punched hard on the face by an angry Hulk who would take the punch? Rogue would, even though she won’t last long but she would take it.
Powers: This two have one thing the other doesn’t
have,Spiderman has “spider-sense” while Rogue has
absorbing powers. And not to mention she has flight too, that can come in handy because the likes of Superman and Wonder Woman use flight when they fight Spiderman.
Brains: Spiderman beats Rogue in brains which means he is more smarter than her.I’m sure if they met the second time round Spiderman would use his science genuis against Rogue, maybe Spidey
doesn’t even have to fight here.He could use some
of his chemicals he has at class against Rogue.
Rogue is dumb.I take that from watching the Animated series of X-Men,she is just like the Flash. No Brain Department. This is where Spidey’s brains come in handy...
So this settles it,Rogue wins 7/10 times against Spidey.I think a 80 ton punch to the gut would take Spidey out,so a more of a match against Rogue would be Super-Girl or Wonder Woman.
I kinda liked the idea of Rogue able to lift 80 tons and move at the speed of sound,it’s clear here she doesn’t even need to obsorb Spiderman’s powers.

Guile Grinder Guest | I never knew Rogue had super speed. She never uses that in the X-Men Animated series as well the movie franchise. And if she is indeed fast why doesn’t she use her super speed like Superman and the Flash do (both on TV and comics)?
And if she is fast how fast as she anyway?

That is a very good question Guile.Television tends to make comic book charactors a little less
powerfull than their comic book versions. It happens to many comic book charactors from both DC and Marvel like Superman Animated,Spiderman Animated,Justice League Unlimited and X-Men just by naming a few-so don’t be surprised.
Look at X-Men movies (1-3),Rogue doesn’t have super human strength and flight, all she has is that power where she sucks you dry.Wolverine as well.He is powered down in the movie version,he has no agility, martial arts or reflexes-all he has is those claws of his and the healing factor.
In the X-Men Animated series, all the charactors are powered up from the movie versions and powered less than the comic book version.
Wolverine at least has his agility and reflexes.
Rogue herself has her strength and flight in the cartoon version so at least on her part she has everything that she would have in the comics- except her super speed
And speaking of super speed you asked that how fast is she compared to Flash and Superman.Well since she got Miss Marvel’s powers, she got her flight, strength and speed.SPEED-hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
So how fast Rogue? She (like the Martian Manhunter and Thor) can travel at the speed of sound but she can’t rotate her arms when fighting
a villian at super speed like Superman or Flash can.

Hank Xavoiur Guest | That is intresting Mr.White, comic heroes are powered down from their comic counter parts.Superman is one of them,in the animated series he grins when he lifts up a car.Imagine
that? That’s supposed to be Spiderman doing that, not Superman (a man who lifts cars with 1 hand).
Rogue herself possess Miss Marvel’s powers, which means Rogue has Miss Marvel’s super strength, speed (lift over 70 tons) and flight.Rogue would beat Spiderman,a fair match for Rogue would be Rogue vs Supergirl or Wonder Woman.

Even in that Hank,I still think Rogue would beat both of them.Even though Wonder Woman is faster than her (in terms of delivering 50 punches a second like Superman and Flash) and stronger,if Rogue managed to land her hands on Wonder Woman it’s all over for her!!!!

Well Wonder Woman’s strength is almost on Superman’s strength level (who can lift over 100 tons).Wonder Woman herself can lift over 100 tons
like Superman compared to Rogue’s (who can lift over 80 tons).I’m not sure who is faster between the 2 but since Wonder Woman can rotate her arms at super human speed then I presume she is more faster than Rogue.

She’s faster. Rouge is not as fast as her. Many characters from the DC universe have noted that she has been stronger than Superman at sometimes.

Mr.White Guest | DC is good at making mistakes, one thing I know for sure is that Supergirl is not stronger than Superman.Even Wonder Woman who is less stronger than Superman is stronger than Supergirl

Well Miss Marvel could travel at light speed, ever
since Rogue got her powers,Rogue herself could also travel at the speed of light. As for Supergirl, since she got Superman’s powers that means that she too is “faster than a speeding”.
Since Rogue can’t rotate her arms at super human speed and Supergirl can, then I’d say Supergirl is
faster than Rogue. | |
