And what about Thor?
Well I didn’t read the comic,I just saw the cover
of it.It showed Thor HOLDING BACK SPIDERMAN WITH ONE HAND ON THE HEAD WHILE SPIDERMAN WAS TRYING TO PUNCH HIM.

Ryo Ketchum Guest | What was Spiderman thinking going against the Mighty Thor?
These two are totally in a different ball game,we are talking about Spiderman going against someone who is strong
(or even stronger than Superman).

Spiderman guys actually went toe to toe with the “God of Thunder”.Thor tried to hit Spiderman but he couldn’t,Spidey was dodging every attack and punch thrown at him.He wore Thor down but he didn’t defeat him.

Rogue. | |

Agreed, but Spiderman is still loosing-in this thread and the match

Mr.White Guest | I’m starting to understand what Brandon was trying to say that Spidey could outsmart Rogue. If Spiderman just met Rogue and they both fought, then he would loose. But if he was prepared (because this is something Spidey is also good
at) then he might defeat Rogue.

Don’t get us wrong Mr.White, despite Rogue being more faster and stronger than Spidey doesn’t mean
it’s the end of Spidey.Spidey has one main advantage over Rogue and that’s brains,I’m sure he could devise a stratagy or plan to take out Rogue (she is after all not the miss brains anyway). But if they just met then Rogue would beat Spiderman

Comic version
Rogue wins
Animated version
Hmmm but Rogue wins
Movie version
Spider-Man wins and you don’t have to be a genuis to figure
that one out
Brandon my friend there is a better way of settling this:
Let’s first look at the powers section starting off with:
Strength: Spiderman can lift 25 tons (now) and Rogue has been able to lift 80 tons so the strength factor definately goes to Rogue.
Speed: Rogue has super speed while Spiderman has enhanced speed.Spidey moves 15 times faster than a human while Rogue can move at the speed of sound, thereby the speed factor definately goes to
Rogue.
Reflexes/Agility: This of course without a doubt goes to Spiderman-Marvel’s greatest reflexed and agile hero. But this isn’t a reflex/agility contest,it’s about who wins here so Spidey’s reflexes and agility are not going to do much against someone who is faster and stronger than him.
Durability: I think this would go to Rogue, the question is if between the 2 where punched hard on the face by an angry Hulk who would take the punch? Rogue would, even though she won’t last long but she would take it.
Powers: This two have one thing the other doesn’t
have,Spiderman has “spider-sense” while Rogue has
absorbing powers. And not to mention she has flight too, that can come in handy because the likes of Superman and Wonder Woman use flight when they fight Spiderman.
Brains: Spiderman beats Rogue in brains which means he is more smarter than her.I’m sure if they met the second time round Spiderman would use his science genuis against Rogue, maybe Spidey
doesn’t even have to fight here.He could use some
of his chemicals he has at class against Rogue.
Rogue is dumb.I take that from watching the Animated series of X-Men,she is just like the Flash. No Brain Department. This is where Spidey’s brains come in handy...
So this settles it,Rogue wins 7/10 times against Spidey.I think a 80 ton punch to the gut would take Spidey out,so a more of a match against Rogue would be Super-Girl or Wonder Woman.
Sorry just wanted to find out,you guys say Rogue is dumb....like the Flash. Can you guys explain what you mean by that? I mean,I never thought Flash is dumb or Rogue for that matter so why don’t you explain what you meant by that.Mr.White

Well it’s not to say she is dumb or anything but it’s just to say Spiderman outwits her.Look in the X-Men animated series, look at her personality
towards Gambit.I don’t know about her in comics but in the animated series she appears to me to a
bit little dumb (also look at her cowboy/girl accent). And as for Flash,in the Justice League animated series he does appear to be dumb. All he does is fantasise about girls, flirt with girls (even the ones in his own time like Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl).I maybe wrong but if you watch Justice League on cartoon network you’ll exactly what I’m talking about.

I do watch the Justice League (usually Justice League Unlimited) and Flash is exactly what Mr.White descripes him.The same goes for Rogue who also has that cowboy accent (mind you which makes her hot) and she is a kind of a....bimbo.
But I’m not sure how she is (along with Flash) in
the comics | |

Hank Xavouir Guest | Comic heroes are very different than heroes we see them on television.Television sometimes take characters from their comic book counter parts and take librety with them, and also power them down from comics.Heroes powered down include the likes of Superman Animated,Batman Animated and even Spiderman Animated naming a few.In comics Flash is serious like everyone else is in his team, the only guy who
flirts around and is a jackass (almost like Jim Carrey of Ace Venture or The Mask) is Plastic Man.But of course,he is
not there in Justice League television serious. As for Rogue? I don’t know if what she is in the X-Men television is the same as in comics

Same here but as for the movie version of X-Men,
she isn’t the same girl as she is in the X-Men animation series. So you were right all along about comic book charactors being different from their movie and television characters.
