After Sonic breaks one of his wings, the Off Waves he emits become weaker, but they still have enough power to instantly KO a fighter. You must avoid them at all cost when fighting him.

So he gets the advantage (albeit forced) of being able to fight in subspace, or himself. That’s a field advantage.
So...for equality’s purpose, should Sephiroth not get the Negative Lifestream?
(also, if he’s the embodiment of Subspace, wouldn’t it make sense for him to be able to compress it around himself so they could fight on definitively equal grounds?)
