no doing that would make the game seem less desirable would u rather have quanitiy over quality besides what really made the oot was the great storyline
Sorry if anyone has already suggested this but what if, as zucas has suggested, the next legend of zelda game is set between Twilight princess and the windwaker and that game also splits the timeline again by having two endings (or more), one ending in flood and one ending in a normal Hyrule, and maybe, just to make the entire story fit into our world, and ending that could tie in with the past of our world, I know that last suggestion is absolutley ridiculous but hey, at least i’m using my right to free speech, not like you all aren’t but... you know... I’d better stop soon or this’ll all lead to a huge, pointless ramble... I should have stopped typing ages ago... in fact... (reader looses interest and goes onto next comment).
but, dont forget that there’s a scene in tp that shows ganon being killed at the twilight gate thing so it could be... before?? i have no idea. I just confused myself. if someone could just take what i just said and make sennse of it i would thank them.
i wouldn’t mind 1 after mm but the story of hyrule b is pretty unclear. ther shud b a game set b4 or after tp to show how the world recovered after gannon’s rein of terror or the unknown reason behind the immediate flood. as long as they dont take bribes from al gore to make it a global warming awareness thing lol
hey, how is tp in hyrule b? i thought the link from ww had to reclaim the triforce but in tp, which is supposedley b4 ww link appears and he clearly has the triforce mark on his hand like the links from hyrule b. and in hyrule b ther is no tradition of naming the princesses zelda because that is in hyrule a (i think), and in tp the princess is called zelda, but it is obvious that ww is on hyrule b, because zelda is named tetra, but it seems unlikeley there will be one between oot and ww that involves the triforce of courage because it had to be reclaimed from the ocean in ww. but how did the triforceof courage actually come to be in hyrule b? because as oot suggests the triforce of courage is lost and is only in hyrule a because link took it back with him. (sorry if im contradicting everything i’ve said but im actually just thinking through this as i go) now here’s an incredibly crazy idea but what if the hyrule a & b wer actually the same ones and the evets of mm onwards made hyrule what it is in ww. no. too crazy. oh well thats all my ideas. sorry for wasting your lives (and my own) by writing this seeing as you probably already thought of this, but weren’t as sad as me to actually go as far as tell the world lol.
I’m not sure, but I think nintendo uses their own software. I know that nintendo used maya for windwaker, but imagine what a realistic game might look like if they used maya for it... it would be really cool. Personally, I feel that if nintendo wanted to do something epic, they should have ganondorf go under for awhile, and have link be in a present day city but suddenly ganondorf begins to make his comeback in that present and he begins to slowly take over things. The next link notices this and does something about it. Its epic and is a lot more to carry with it. That’s my opinion...

Whether people want to admit it or not, The Legend of Zelda storyline can be quite deep and confusing.
Nintendo has never formally announced an official timeline or series story outlay or if they are even connected. It is left up to simply the fans to speculate.
One of the more promising theories has always been the split timeline theory. That entire theory can be viewed here:
After watching it you’ll be quite enthralled and more confused. Especially about where that leaves our hero in his next adventure. It is all quite possible that the next game could extend past a critical point in the story and make a new one kinda like how Wind Waker did. But I speculate that the next game will occur between Twilight Princess and Wind Waker.
Why? Well first of all it goes back to a quote by Miyamoto himself. He stated that after Twilight Princess the series will never be the same. In other words something huge is going to happen in the next game. So why do I pick between TP and WW. Well according to that speculative timeline they come in order. At the end of Twilight Princess the story completed for that game but left a very awry feeling. And at the beginning of Wind Waker we are at the beginning of a world that has been completely destroyed. Whatever goes in between them must have been dark and drastic. This would fit Miyamoto’s quote.
So what’s going to happen. I really don’t know but it’s fun to speculate. Anyone got any ideas. The next Zelda game is supposed to hit late 2009 or late 2010.
I bet you a million bucks they’re going to remake ocarina of time.
That would be friggen awsome if they did.
They probably won’t though, seeing as they already made OoT Master Quest.
Ganon kills “Happy Mask Man” and steals Majora’s Mask, along with all the other powerful masks, and all the bosses/mini-bosses are really just good guys (or animals) in Mask’s, controlled by Ganon. In the end, you have to gain some insanley strong power to beat Ganon when he put’s on Majora’s Mask.

That would be freakin' crazy.
Why? Ganon is in Hyrule in the first timeline, and he’s in the Dark Realm in the second.
We should have another main villain, or at least someone like Zant, who brings Ganondorf back.

Then the Happy Mask Man could get Ganon out of the Dark Realm.
Ganon: GET ME OUT.
HMM(happy mask man):No.
Ganon: Uhhh... I have Masks!
HMM: WHERE?!?!!?
Ganon: Uhh.. Here. * rips off face*
HMM: OHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! *realeases ganon*
Ganon: *shoots a giganormous magic blast and kills HMM*
Ganon: *searches through HMM and takes all masks and duz all da stuff I said he’d do in my other post*

And when you beat him you take the Mask off and see his flesh with no face.
OHH SCARY.
