Yeah. The 360 has exclusive content. But Rockstar isn’t stupid. They’re not going to piss off Sony and their fans. We’ll see exclusive content on the PSN later on as well.

But i doubt it’ll be as big as the 360’s. I mean M$ paid billions for it. I doubt Rockstar would just turn around and give the same level of content to the PS3.

You obviously don’t know how business works then. Microsoft payed billions for exclusive content. Just things that PS3 owners won’t be able to get. Nowhere in the contract does it say that Sony can’t have something on the same level. If you ask me, Microsoft was stupid for paying that much money when they could have gotten it for a lot less.

Like I said, Rockstar won’t piss off Sony and their fans. Like that first guy said in the video. GTAIV is primarily a PS3 title. That’s where the majority of sales will come from for the game. They’re not going to blow off their biggest market and risk a large fanbase. The PS3 version will get downloadable content on the same level later. It might be much later. But it’ll get the content.

360 gets DLC...but it will be on PS3 eventually maby in the GoTY edition.

360’s DLC is exclusive to 360, forever, mS payed 50+ mil for it.

Ps3 will probably just end up getting a few smaller DLC’s that will most likely be on 360 as well.

I’m aware PS3 will also get DLC, i’m just not sure if it will be exclusive, rockstar got payed 50 mil to keep 2 sets of DLC exclusive, for the other ones, they require a bigger return profit, as they haven’t been payed to keep it exclusive, That would mean going on both platforms for the non payed for content.

Plus, I have a feeling the 360 version will out preform PS3 version in sales, therefore more profit would probably be taken in on the 360 side, meaning multi platform DLC.

No “for sure ness” of course, just what I think.

The PS3 version is the primary console for GTA4. Mostly because GTA has pretty much been Sony exclusive. (Much like MGS) Microsoft only got the ports.

Right now, the exclusive content is being touted as being a 360 exclusive. And that’s fine and dandy. It’s going to affect which version a person who owns a 360 and a PS3 buys. However... Those who own neither console and want the game will buy it for the PS3.

It’s like that one guy predicted for the week of console sells on GTA4’s release. 360 - 300,000. PS3 - 500,000.

The PS3 version might not look as good, it might not have DLC right at the beginning, but it has the loyal GTA fanbase thanks to Vice City Stories, Liberty City Stories, and San Andreas.

That means the PS3 GTA IV is like to push more units than the 360 version. That implies that the PS3 version won’t be deprived of BIG exclusive content. The 360 version will have " exclusive episodic content” while the PS3 will likely have the same.

I disagree with you Cid, while Rockband isn’t stupid MS isn’t stupid either. The point of the pay was for the Xbox to get exclusive content and the PS3 version doesn’t, else they could pretty well be messing around with MS, something that won’t happen.

No, you’re wrong. Microsoft paid for exclusive content. NO WHERE in the deal did it say that that the PS3 couldn’t have exclusive content. You got to think like a businessman, if somebody gave you money for you to make something specifically for them... And then another company asked for you to make something else for them as well.. Would you tell one company no just because you promised exclusive merchandise to another? If you would then you don’t deserve to have money.

The PS3 will get it’s own exclusive content, RockStar already confirmed it. It’s just it won’t be as extravagant as the 360’s.

It’s true. Just wait and see. There’s going to be some huge exclusive content for the PS3 as well. Even if Sony pays for it like Microsoft did. It will happen.
