try google find the MagicIso to make a iso from PS2DVD
I have use PCSX2 to play Final Fantasy X but it so slow FPS just 9 it lag
at the beginning of the game i just saw a sword and a ball no sky no ground and it freeze
wat wrong ? or because of the emu and know help me

Wow man. THis topic has been going on forEVER! Well, some PS2 emulators aren’t perfect you know. Plus, it takes a lot of computer processing to do it as well. I think they mentioned this before, but it’ll probably be a while until the PS2 emulators are perfect. The game you have also might be dirty or scratched. My friend let me borrow his Ape Escape for PlayStation 1. I put it in and the characters didn’t have any eyes! It was nuts! Sometimes, the games are just screwy. Did you try using another game? I was trying to get a PS2 emulator. And yes, it would be totally awesome to have one, but like I said, it takes up a lot a CPU processing and plus your computer hardware has to adapt to the plugins and stuff. For some reason on the emulators I’ve tried, (PCSX2 and pS2EMU) it doesn’t notice the drive on my computer at all. It’s really annoying. I might just get this thing where I can hook up my PS2 to my computer. Oh yeah, PS2s are pretty cheap now though. I’d suggest getting the small one because the older ones have problems reading games and often come up with the “Disc read error” message. It’s really annoying. But yeah, I have a PS2 BIOS, but I don’t wanna give it out to anyone. And yes, I do have a real PS2. I actually have another one that I share with my brother, so Sony, if you see this, don’t sou me, because I’m not giving the BIOS out to anyone but me. Hey, Sony should make a computer that is capable of playing PS2 games. Microsoft should do the same with the Xbox. It could be part of that Microsoft Entertainment thing. GameCube could do it too. I’m sure people would really like it. Plus, you wouldn’t have to go through the trouble of trying to get an emulator.

"I think” the time of release of pcsx2 0.9 is less than a couple of weeks , what do you all think ?

The next PCSX2 version will most likely be out late september.

But they might not release 0.9 and instead work on getting 1.0

If they skip over 0.9 the wait will probably be longer but version 1 should run games atleast better than it already can.

Well, I’m not sure where you can find it. I found it by going to one of the links they put up there. PCSX2 works fine for me. I just can’t get it to notice my CD/DVD drive. Even with the DVD drivers, it doesn’t notice it at all. It bites rubies.

Um... Ok. Hey, I have a REAL ACTual PS2 that I got from gamestop. I also have another one I got for Christmas too.

Um. I don’t know. I’m not too sure, really. I don’t know that much about emulators. I’ve always used a real PS2 though. They’re pretty cheap and you can hook it up to your PC now. Just do it that way.
