It’s not that rap is better it’s just another choice for other people it’s more of a cultural thing that one is better than the other

1.Great Expression of Feelings
2.If done right it’s the most creative music
3.It’s good in the clubs to dance to
4.The beats are better than rock music
5.More entertaining

have a much more loyal fan base (most people only like one song for a lot of diferent rappers and all the metalhead i know buy whole albums)
they do much more fun live shows
they dont make teenager want to join the bloods or crips and tag that shit every where even though their in Aus
i think rappers are full of them self’s
its realy boring
the lirics are meaningless

Rap doesn’t degrade anyone either and as far as a more loyal fan base that’s not true live shows is a preference and opionion not fact. Rap music doesn’t make kids join gangs they just give insight as to what it’s like to be in a gang just like the movie Colors or Blood in Blood Out or any other gang movie it’s just sharing there experiences not trying to convince kids to join gangs. Yes if you’ve never been through what they’ve been through and have no association to it then it’s meaningless to you

Just because somebody does something after listening to rap music doesn’t mean rap music made them do it. That’s like saying since metal talks about killing yourself then if a kid that likes metal committs suicide then metal made then do it. You know what it’s like to sell coke to pay the bills or be in a gang for protection or carry a gun so for protection????

no they do it because rappers make it sound cool and they want to be like them (not everyone wants to but the majority does) metal doesent make it sound cool the shows how horrible it is and s done with style

It’s no different than a gangster movie except that instead of ending up dead they end up a rapper watch Get Rich or Die Tryin it’s perfect example of how it might seem cool to be a gangster but it always leads to death or incarceration unless you get out

Exactly to people who don’t know anything about that life it looks cool it’s like a movie to them there is no conciquence to there actions because there are not real gang member ready to blow there head off for repping the wrong color but if they spent one day as a real gangster they wouldn’t want to be one anymore
