actually overall marth is a better character than roy (play computers against each other more often than not marth wil come out)
as for ike his moves make him extremely fast (his forward b is an extremely fast move as is his up b)

DarkDragon Guest | Ike and Marth. Roy is powerful, but Marth would dodge his attacks, then use critical hit! Great Aether versus Triforce Smash, both so strong, but Marth would help Ike out against Link.
Sorry Roy fans, but Marth is too fast for Roy. The hero of time poses a threat, like a slightly weaker Pit, but together Marth and Ike win. | | |
