If your warranty is gone, and they know because they’ll ask for your serial number, then they didn’t lose any money. So, they don’t really care. And, Sony’s fault or not, they aren’t liable, and if they’re anything like the guys I talked to at Microsoft repair center, they’ll ask a shitload of questions and try and get you to do everything before they’ll consider taking it back.
Oh, and you will get a system equivalent, not the 80GB, unless yours was an 80GB.

wat kind of set up do you have man, i have the good old fashioned 60 gb ps3, and yeah it gets hot, but my laptop gets way way way way hotter playing games and it doesnt die

an, i’ve had MORE issues with my PC than my PS3, which is perfect..
so, dont jump the gun....
I have a small PSX console, I play games on it. Whats so special about wii? I can wave it like a remote control? I can lift up my remote to change the channel or watch 'On Demand'. 360 is just a simple console, americans trying to reclaimed there place as primary console makers. Playstation 3 tries to hard to be hardcore, I don’t see whats so awesome about them all they just play game and go on the internet and talk shit like “BAKE ME A CAKE WOMAN!" (I saw that video.), But I guess the reason why I don’t play is cause I perfer small fun games over FPS, criminal simulation games, bishie RPG’s. Maybe if they can make a console that can play it’self and beat the game for me then I can buy one.
