Foreword- Some people look at me, they watch how I act, and they judge me. They think I’m a punk. Well this is my Punk Truth, my essay of ‘maybes’. It is so, because very rarely is there a golden rule to anything. Please, listen closely.
If you cannot spell clinicals, maybe you shouldn’t have a child.
If you do not know what the bubonic plague is, maybe you are ignorant.
If you come to a closed door, see ten people standing outside of it looking bored and holding their stuff, the lights are off and no one is in the room, and you try the door and find it locked like the other ten people who have tried it, maybe you are stupid.
If you see someone with marker on their face, tell them about it and do not realize that up to fifty people probably informed them about it ten seconds before you did, maybe you belong in whatever shitty living condition you are in.
If you think that all white people are racist, maybe you are racist.
If you make a race joke, maybe you aren’t racist.
If you give them a light bulb, maybe it takes ten Frenchmen to screw it into a light socket.
If you think that every man that is nice to children is a pedophile, maybe you need to rethink your way of thinking.
If you think the government cares about you, maybe you need to realize the government is not a human being.
If you think America is a democracy, maybe you should look up the meaning of “republic” and think about how often Americans vote on anything.
If you pick your nose, don’t shower, or don’t wash your hands, and berate others for not doing those things, maybe you are a huge hypocrite that has negative effect on society.
Maybe you should not smell like dead fish.
If you keep popping out children like a baby factory at the age of about twenty, maybe you should realize the large amounts of work that comes with investing good morals into just one child.
Maybe you should wear a condom.
Maybe you should make him wear a condom.
If you go somewhere and everybody calls you a bitch or an asshole, maybe you shouldn’t take it as a compliment because you can’t change the bad things about yourself.
Maybe there’s a reason most people don’t like you.
Maybe you should stop being passive aggressive.
If you hate Pakistan because “they bombed us”, maybe you (and people like you) are why wars are allowed to happen.
If your political opinion is exactly like either one of your parents, maybe you need to think for yourself.
If you randomly shout out rap lyrics that have no meaning, are senselessly violent, talk about having sex with drunken girls, or are small bits of a three minute advertisement, maybe you should realize that those songs are part of the reason why humans suck.
Maybe you should not own Apple Bottom Jeans or the boots with the fur.
If you are offended a lot, maybe you should CHILL THE FUCK OUT.
If you are offended by my words, any of them, even the ones that start with F, maybe you should realize that almost everyone uses it, so we outnumber you.
Maybe I will be offended if you call me a honky, cracker, whitee, a mick or a frog, but I’ll probably just laugh at you. Words have no power over me.
If words have power over you, maybe you should realize that people made words, and that now people have power over you.
If you use the “bitches” in place of girls, maybe you too should be referred to as a bitch.
If your child wants to move away when they grow up, maybe you should support them.
If your child is pregnant or has gotten someone pregnant, maybe you should support them.
If your child is gay, maybe you should support them.
If your child wants to be a police officer, physical therapist, doctor, teacher, janitor or reporter, maybe you should support them.
Maybe you should support your child.
Maybe you think your child is your property, but you are wrong.
Maybe you think that your child is you, and that is also wrong. Morally as well as the fact you are mistaken.
If you’re ten year old is having sex, maybe you messed up.
If you child masturbates, maybe you shouldn’t acknowledge it so as to not make them uncomfortable.
If you give your child drugs or alcohol, maybe you don’t think it’s wrong. But it is.
Maybe most people use drugs because there is something wrong in there lives.
If you smoke, do drugs, or drink while pregnant, maybe you should have your baby taken away.
If you have sex with many different people many different times, maybe you should ask yourself what is so wrong in your life that you need to fill the void with penis/vagina.
If you borrow money and don’t pay it back, maybe you are untrustworthy.
If you introduce your little sister to older guys that want to have sex with her, maybe you’re a bad older sister.
If you cheat on your boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife, maybe you are morally weak.
Maybe the morally weak shouldn’t be allowed to live in America.
Maybe America would be empty if that happened.
Maybe not.
If you like a certain kind of music for any other purpose than you like the way it sounds, maybe you should find a music you like.
Maybe you should stop deluding yourselves.
If you only have sex with someone if someone buys you dinner, gifts, or when they do things for you, maybe you should look up the word prostitute.
Maybe you should have a wider vocabulary.
If you don’t like being lied to, maybe you should stop trusting politicians, teachers and parents.
Maybe you shouldn’t.
If you are a walking stereotype, any kind at all, maybe you should stop hiding behind it because you think your real self sucks.
Maybe you need to admit your not being yourself.
If you automatically think anything dealing with imagination and words you have to read are gay or nerdy, maybe you are just angry because you can’t comprehend it.
If you think getting high is the most important thing you can find in life, maybe you should find real love.
If you are a man that will hit woman, maybe its just poetic justice when they stab you in their sleep, or when a Good Samaritan sees it and sends you to the hospital.
If you rape woman, or molest children, maybe you should be castrated.
Maybe a bullet is less expensive than lethal injection.
If you think that only woman, children, and prison inmates get sexually assaulted, maybe you don’t realize that you shouldn’t make men that get sexually assaulted feel like they need to alienate themselves.
If you think a man is only summed up by his money, his power and how many fights he gets in, maybe you should not reproduce like-minded children for the betterment of mankind.
If you can’t trust, maybe you shouldn’t date.
If you don’t have a home and a job, maybe you should not purposefully get pregnant.
If you tell on people to get them into trouble, and they are not doing anything to hurt someone else, maybe you are a vindictive useless human being that needs to learn people skills.
If you romantically refuse a person, maybe you shouldn’t use phrases like, “You’re nice, but...", “I like/love you as a friend.", “I’m not ready for a relationship." “I’m afraid of losing you as a friend." and then go out with a complete scumbag as it is senselessly hurtful and retarded.
Maybe people should realize that every word that is used in place of a “politically incorrect” word will eventually become yet another “politically incorrect” word.
If you think political correctness is a good thing, maybe you should re-read this and find the parts about politicians/the government.
If you cannot speak a sentence aloud without using fuck, bitch, or shit, you should go back to elementary school.
Maybe the crazy paranoid people are right.
If a teenager seems happy, maybe they are just happy, not on drugs.
If a teenager is tired, maybe they are just tired, not on drugs.
If a teenage is sad, maybe something in their life if wrong, and you should help them.
Maybe they are not on drugs.
If you are in authority of other people, and talk down to them or as if they aren’t equal human beings at all, maybe that’s why they are disrespectful to you.
Maybe you should remember that you can’t make them do anything you want, not without a fight.
If authority is being abused, maybe it is okay to be “insubordinate”, some of our countries greatest founders were “insubordinate”.
If you think that South Park had no intelligence behind its humor, maybe you just don’t understand references.
Maybe Elvis is still alive.
Maybe Tupac is still alive.
If you just cheered for either, then maybe you need to stop worshiping musicians.
Maybe there is a God.
Maybe there is a flying spaghetti monster.
Hell, maybe Tom Cruise is right.
But the one thing I do know is that every person, every single person who reads this, including myself, needs to take a long hard look at themselves and try to correct the things within themselves that are messed up. Everyone can improve, and everyone should improve.
If you can’t or won’t, maybe you shouldn’t be here.
On Earth, that is.
If you don’t understand this, maybe you should try.
