As a member of the Saiyan race, Vegeta has the ability to easily manipulate his ki energy to create and enhance attacks. Like most other primary characters in Dragon Ball, Vegeta has the ability to use the Bukujutsu, which enables him to levitate and fly. Constant training and his Saiyan heritage have given him superhuman strength and he can move at superhuman speeds.

Unlike most of the characters in the series, Vegeta is known to often give names to his attacks. In his early appearance, Vegeta is seen to use attacks that mimick several of the protagonists of the series, such as a ki disk, a two fingered lazer-like blast, and a ki wave similar to Dragon Ball’s most commonly referenced attack: the Kamehameha. The name of this commonly referenced attack is the Garlic Cannon or in the English dubs, the Galick Gun, which he’s only seen to use once in the manga in his attempt to destroy the planet and defeat Goku when he first arrived on Earth. Even though Vegeta only uses his Garlic Cannon once in the series, it is the main attack that his character uses in most Dragon Ball Z video games. Vegeta later developes the Big Bang Attack and the Final Flash, which are more powerful and more efficient then his earlier techniques. For unknown reasons, in the original Japanese audio of the anime, Vegeta can be heard naming these two attacks in English. In spite of their popularity, Vegeta’s most commonly used attack in the series is when he bombards an opponent with and array of small ki blasts. Vegeta is not known to have a name for this attack, but it is officially called “Energy Dan” or “Rapid Fire”.

Vegeta also possesses several transformations that enhance his abilities to varying degrees. Early in the series, he has the ability to become an Oozaru, so long as he still has his tail, which increases his strength tenfold. He eventually gains the ability to transform into a Super Saiyan and, through training, can further transform into advanced states of Super Saiyan such as Super Saiyan 2.

Itachi Uchiha


In the few battles he has been seen in, Itachi has proven to be an incredible opponent. He is a genjutsu master, most of his genjutsu being Sharingan based. When faced with a genjutsu, Itachi can use his Sharingan to dispel it or perform “Demonic Illusion: Mirror Heaven and Earth Change” and turn the genjutsu against its user. Itachi is also very adept with standard genjutsu, and can trap others within an illusion by merely pointing or looking at them. as well as turning their own genjutsu against them. It’s stated by Sasuke that Itachi’s signature Sharingan genjutsu involves crows. Itachi is also noted to be very fast with his techniques and movements, as Kakashi Hatake experienced during their first confrontation in Part I.

Itachi’s Mangekyo Sharingan enables him to use some of the Uchiha clan’s most powerful techniques. With his left eye, he can use Tsukuyomi, which makes him capable of trapping an opponent in an illusionary world where he may seem to torture them for days on end in only a matter of seconds. With his right, he can also use Amaterasu, whereas it allows him to create a black flame that is able to burn through the strongest of materials. His final trump card is Susano’o, an ability which manifests as a spectral being resembling a tengu surrounding his body. Its exact abilities are unknown at present, but it wields the Sword of Totsuka, a spectral sword with no physical existence with the ability to bind its victims into an eternal genjutsu, and the Yata no Kagami, a mirror that’s capable of reflecting all kinds of attacks against the opponent. Despite his mastery of the Mangekyo Sharingan, Itachi seems to be falling prey to its side effects. In addition to being left fatigued after each usage, his eyesight is worsening after every activation and he will eventually go blind from its power.

In terms of standard Ninjutsu, Itachi can create shadow clones to perform jutsu for him and act as shields from attacks. These clones can also be commanded to explode with “Clone Great Explosion” , which is easily capable of killing those caught in the blast. As a member of the Uchiha clan, he can also perform “Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique” to catch opponents in a blast of fire, and in the anime can breathe multiple fireballs with Fire Release: Phoenix Immortal Fire Technique . With “Water Release: Water Fang Bullet” he can also catch targets in a circle of crushing water.

The Sharingan would not do much here. As Vegeta has already been possessed by Babidi, which backfired on him. The Sharingan would also backfire.

“sighs” You know this is getting old, and I don’t evan like Naruto that much. I find tha manga quite boring to be honest but read it any way for the sake of finding out what happens next.



Babid’s mind control and Itachi’s Tsukuyomi (genjutsu) are two different things and can’t be compared so easily.

When Babidi uses a mind control spell on someone they can feel it, they know when Babidi is in their head trying to take their mind. It’s just a matter of you can’t do anything about unless your poweful enough to resist.

Itachi’s genjutsu’s are much more subtle you have no idea of when or how or if you where caught in one or not.

Any way though Itachi defeating Vegetta is a possibility, Vegeta wining is much more likley. Seeing as Vegeta can disrupt Itachi offense simply buy powering up, And the fact that he has enough power to scatter an earth sized planets mass comes in handy too.
