Are they suppose to be Super Robots(large, hot-blooded, combination, named attacks, and hot-blooded theme song playing) or Real Robots(military purpose, none background effects, no named attacks only weapons, and non-hot-blooded theme song playing)?

Real as in realistic.

Real would be mechs used as weapons alongside other mechanized forces like tanks and stuff. Also they’re more realistic in weaponry, capabilities, etc...basically as realistic as you can get when it comes to giant fighting robots.

Super would be robots that are like super heroes cept robots, have little sense of realism, and are usually used by some random schmo who happened to come across it or whatever.

Yep, I saw it and I was a fan of it but the fighting style of it suits best for a real robot theme as Tohilius said above.

By super robot, meaning GIANT-sized robot mechs that means they are either: seperate vehicles that combine into one giant robot, transforming vehicles that transforms into jets or mechanical animals, or basically ONE whole robot but controlled by a smaller vehicle docked in its forehead.
Robot Boy is just a Super Hero Robot, but NOT an actual super robot. Plus, you forgot to put 2 seperate list for each(Super and Real). And real robot just a military-usage robot usually built on Earth that acts like a tank or a jet fighter.

As far as I know, for Super robots: Many from SRW Original Generation, lot of Brave series robots and Getter Robo series.
