I am sorry, but that is downright stupid considering we have never talked about anyone in a mean way in the thread. The only time hate starts being passed around is when someone comes in and bashes our taste in music, or if someone is getting mad at us because we will not let them in the Clan because they do not listen to metal.

Congatulations mate, you have now officially blown things out of proportion. BAshing would constitute a barrage of comments and generally promoting a negative image of the thread by MULTIPLE posts damning the members of the topic.

I guess bashing was the incorrect word to use, but that is beside the point. What is angering me about this situation is that you are claiming we have been talking crap about others with nothing to back ourselves on while you are talking crap about Screams of Baltith without anything to support your idea yourself.
N3M3SIS’s comment was to be funny, not to be taken seriously. It is all as a joke and it seems all who have read it are believing that that is what we are.
As for singling you out, I did not intend to make it seem as if you were in the center of it all. Many people were being ignorant, but because I know you because you are a pretty popular mod around here, I remembered your name, and I could not remember any others.

Well, Atresac has been an ass recently, and I am not sure why (sorry Atresac if you are reading this, but since you were made an administrator of SoB, you have kinda been one) But none of us are assholes unless someone is being an ass to us. If they have been hurting others however, then they are either doing it to just be funny and to get a good laugh, or perhaps I had a wrong image of them, and they are not as good of guys I have thought they were. The point is, the people of SoB are some of the nicest I know here. I want to figure out really what is going on.

I seem to recal a few comments on Emo bashing and the bragging abot beating the shit out of kids cause they were Emo, cause that was the metal thing to do, cause they had bad taste in music.
That seems like a pretty poser thing to do, especially as their is a strong awareness of emo kid bashing in the school system and that a strong teacher presence is prevailent to stop such known things from happening.
Also, as Zeta has mentioned, the supperiority complex is a farce too. I doubt very much that any of you would walk up to a stranger who had a a slightly different taste in music and verbally bash them.
Also, I still think you are blowing this WAYYYYY out of proportion. I made ONE comment in retaliation to the egotisticval promotion of your clan by one of its members. You don’t want people to think you are posers, perhaps you chould be chastising your clan members for their bad examples if poser behaviour and not so much the people who draw comparisions eh?

We don’t bash people, at least I DONT and I do not remember anyone from SoB bashing anyone for their taste in music unless they were bashing ours. You can look at any topic where this has happened, and you will see that we did not start it. It they are, once again, I had the complete wrong image of them. If so, they are elitist assholes. On the thread they seem to be some of the most true metal fans I know.
As for blowing this out of porportion, I might be. I had a rough night last night. I had five Monsters before I went to bed, and got three hours of sleep so I am real tired.

And I would like, in response to the post, mention that I enjoy more and more clubs on specific forms of music. I enjoy groups like those, because also people not into the music will stay away from it and not attack the genre. I am not too sure about others, but I am in support of them (I just wish the Rock Club was more organized, and was stickied)
