Actually the Republican side would be more prone to do that, as they tend to side with the “radical” Christian fundamentalists more than that of the mainstream Christian. So really John McCain is more apt to do it.
If these idiots new anything about the Constitution, they’d know it’s completely illegal to even stop the selling of them to any age, as the first amendment gives us those rights. And states don’t have any power over it either. It’s up to the parents to take personal responsibility for what their children play.
Too many people in this country think they can solve all their problems and moral issues through government programs and regulations. And its because we are unwilling to do anything on our own, yet complain about when it happens. Then we ask others and ultimately give away some of our rights.
I’d like it better if people would just say I want to keep my rights to play violent video games, and I’ll be responsible enough to not let it get into the hands of someone who shouldn’t have it, and accept the consequences when its done. A hell of a lot better than spending taxpayer money on such silly regulations and then blaming the companies for making it and letting the parents get off easy.
Well, not every protestant believes games are bad for you, but a large portion probably do. But hell, she’s been going on about this for years. Remember Hot Coffee? She was all over that too, and now she’s moved on to the next game. But just to respond to her, the game does not encourage anyone to have sex with prostitutes and then kill them, it’s merely an option. That’s what sandbox games are. And Republicans do tend to attack games more. Well, Bush did at least one thing right by not trying to ban games.
It is really sad, our government is full of mostly senile old farts who think of themselves doing the country a favor, yeah when they think they can do this by breaking a consititution article they think it is right and yet no one cares that they government has been defying its own laws.
Our government mainly sucks right now because we have senile old farts who think they do the right thing by their own interests. I think that many of those people do not recall that they should do what is in the best interest of the country, its people, and what really matters rather than use somthing as a scapegoat. They should make decisons that benefit all, plus they cannot even do this because old people were critizing jazz in the 1930s and the beatles in the 50s and 60s, so what in ****ing hell gives those retards a right to critizie us on what we are doing? I think they just do not know how to mind their own business.
