Well if the kyuubi fire a chakra blast into the planets core it should with the heat of the blast.

It didn’t seem that way. I misread it wrong. Other than that, the Kyuubi has a chance to get out of the water, in space, there is no chance, one you get there, you are dead without something covering your whole body.
