Look i don’t think that was SSJ2 but thir is no deffinate so say it was what did we prove a weakened SSJ2 fought Brolly one that was probably as strong as the Gohan he fought 7 year’s prior lol in SSJ.
Either way Brolly’s opponent Vegeta is beyond Gohan at any level at this point

Well, let me say this. It could have been an ssj2, that we are not sure of. But there is no proof that it wasn’t besides the sparks, but that does not always show that he is an ssj2. The sparks usually show when he is charging his power and his aura is showing.
So how do we decide...hmmm i say it may have been SSJ2 as SSJ Gohan couldent budge Brolly before nevermind weakened so he would need SSJ2 to even stand a chance really

Well, Broly defeated 4 ssjs in the first movie. I think he can defeat ssj2 Gohan. But that is just an opinion. Other than that, I am still with Vegeta in this debate.
Hmmm douse Goku SSJ Gohan SSJ and Goten SSJ equal Gohan SSJ2 Prime...doubtful Goku could not beat Cell in SSJ even after 7yr’s training Gohan was a flake compared with his old self and Goten was nothing compared with either of them.
I feel they come close tho mabe alittle more mabe alittle less but their isnt much in it for me...mabe it’s Goten’s power that tip’s it for me in favour of Goku and Gohan and Goten being alittle stronger combined but remember combined they beat Brolly soundly.

Well, not all anime is canon. And not all of it is non canon, like some people think that it is. Other than that, I think that he could have defeated Cell. Vegeta almost defeated him when he was in his Ultra ssj form, but his pride got in the way.
