It does have a story, but that doesn’t mean it’s linear. This game is a damn good example of free-roam.

u know what would be great 2 player co-op for GTA IV and cause double mayhem. kinda like in san andreas but way the hell better

sweet!!!! I also hope they have those fun little misions like in saints row also especially mayhem that was the greatest. and about the hooker killing, it was fun to gain ure health back and then kill the hooker to get ure money back... free health baby ;p

I honestly do not think it will surpass OOT, I mean GTA I have no hype for, it is still most likey the same thing over and over again, the stories have always been bland and San Andreas just killed my liking of it for all the stupid little skills you had, whatever happened to the good old days when you could just go to any car you wanted and just go on a rampage? The whole thing with hotwiring cars just seems boring to me now and if they make a game too realistic it can be very stupid, I mean COD4 looks real and plays great yet you can injure yourself as much as you want and survive 20 or more grenade blasts, if they did not put in health regeneration condsidering how fast you die then things would have been very annoying in multiplayer.

Picture this, in GTA4 you are in a gunfight and they made it so real you have to limp away yet it is impossible because you are now moving like a slug and 200 million more bullets hit you after moving an inch, that is really boring in my eyes. What about running from a gang in some mission? You need any car and now you need to hotwire it, before you can even finish it you are dead, I am just not excited for this game because it is still the same thing over and over again, too much realism will kill a game.
