Jakeem is an African-American teenager from Keystone City, who came to possess the genie-powered Thunderbolt pen which once belonged to Johnny Thunder. When an evil genie came to Earth, Jakeem was able, with Captain Marvel’s help, to merge his genie with the evil one. The now fused genie is summoned by saying the words “So Cûl” (pronounced “so cool” ). It is then when he joined the renowned Justice Society of America, which he became reluctant of.

Powers
Jakeem is the possesor of the Thunderbolt pen, which is the home of a genie. With Thunderbolt as his partner, Jakeem is able to make any number of wishes, which causes much mayhem because of mispronounciations and misunderstandings between the two.

powers:
As a result of Hao mastering all five elements, he can simply change the Spirit of Fire’s element around as he wishes. However, while he doesn’t use the Spirits of Earth or Water directly, but having mastered the elements, he can make Spirit of Fire change its element almost instantly. However, it does take quite a bit of concentration and power as he congratulates the X-Law for being able to “push him this far” before killing him.

Hao’s original abilities of a Taijitu master from his first life gives him full control over the elements and divination powers. He is not only able to manipulate the five elements of nature, fire, earth, wood, metal, and water materially, but also spiritually as shown when he converts the spirit of fire into the spirit of water. Even without the spirit of fire, Hao possesses great elemental and divination abilities and can easily bend oni and demigods to his will. However with the addition of the spirit of fire, one can only assume that he can greatly amplify the circular properties of his art by using the spirit of fire as a power source. However, the spirit of fire uses mostly physical attacks, and on occasion its fire attributes. Since Hao is fond of the element fire, he is rarely seen using his taijitu arts in both the manga and the anime. Nevertheless, the combination that his Onmyōdō abilities and the spirit of fire forms definitely gives him an oversoul second in power only to one with the great spirit.

Can Jakeem create anything close to the damage of a rain of meteors? If not he isn’t beating Hao. Hao can read his mind, not only that but Hao’s SOF could easily consume the genie or Jakeem.

In the manga, Hao’s oppenent says “Not even a rain of meteors could destroy you."

And this is before he got The Great Spirit as his spirit ally. Hao reads minds, I kinda doubt Jakeem could handle him. Don’t get me wrong.

And hasn’t the Genie’s power been limited?

when he created a row of homes for a families, another series of home were destroyed for the exact same number of people

But what about Hao’s Spirit of Fire? It’s fires consume anything.

I highly doubt the spirit of fire is more powerful than a fifth dimension imp even with limited powers

But he won’t know the SOF powers. So why would he wish it was bonded?

he doesnt need to know the SOF powers to wish it was bonbded...he could unbond hao fro mthe spirit of fire and such

Hao reads minds so he is going to know what Jakeem is going to do, so I doubt he’s going to mess around when the SOF is on the line.

He can read minds. I’ll have to find that scan tommorow but in the manga it states he reads minds.
