Well, yesterday, I was sitting in my science class and we had a substitute. Now he is a pretty cool substitute and all, but yesterday he kind of sounded to condencending for his own religion while he totally misrepresented another.

He is apparently, really anti Islam. Not like the “I want to slaughter every Muslim” but the kind who thinks it’s a religion of pure terror and non morality. Now even if you disagree with Islam, you know it’s not PURE evil, I mean come now. Their would be NO ISLAM if they had no marility and they were barbaric suicide bombers.

This guy was one of those really devoted christians, and one who is holds steriotypes against all religions other than his own.

Also, While coming up with this I thought back to Gplex’s thread about respect for religions and I think I finally have something good.

We don’t nessicarily have to respect the religions, but I think we can accept them as long as it does not teach things like “Kill everyone’s babies and do whatever the hell you want even if it is against the law." or something. Also I think we can also respect people in religion.

I’m sure you can agree with me Gplex and Matt, to some degree. I mean, I’m sure you know Christians who are really cool people and you can get along with and be friends with. You can respect those people for who they are. For instance, my parents are both Christian but I respect and love them.

A few of my friends are christians and I can respect them. Even this subsititute I have, he is a cool person to talk to most of the time and he tells very interesting stories. I respect him.

I hope everyone can at least come to agreement here. That the people who practice these religions CAN indeed be respected. Now, I’m not saying respect people like Osama Bin Laden(He claims to be Islamic but I hear that what he does isn’t allowed in Islam.

Islam never allowed people kill infidels in not war area.... it’s called HARAM and Should not be done for every moslems if the moslems people kill infidels in not war area he must be killed to or pay some money to the family he/she killed and called fidyah... but you can kill everyone in battle except womans and childrens... that is the law of Islam which Bush never admit that his troops kill womans and childrens in Iraq...

if the atheist, christian, jews doing crime his crime goes to trial but if the moslems doing crime it is islam goes to trial...

if israel bombing palestina child it is their right to kill them but when moslems take out israel armies... it is islam said to be terrorist...

when non moslems woman take care childrens and family, she sacrifice her life for the family but when woman moslems doing so... people said she need to be liberated...

if child goes totally to islam people will say the child is hopeless but when goes to math people will say he is totally potential...

Osama Bin Laden isn’t a true Muslim. I have posted the Islamic rules of war straight from the Quran many times but Matt just says “Nah, there’s tons of other verses that cancel it out and they can’t all be out of context." When really most of the verses are saying non-muslims will go to Hell, not that Muslims should kill non-muslims, and the rest are seriously out of context.

Also, many times the Bible is misquoted too. Look at this quote from Leviticus 20:13.
“And if a man lie with mankind, as with womankind, both of them have committed abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."

Now, this ISN’T commanding Christians or anyone else to put homosexuals to death. It is just saying homosexuals will die. Note that the punishment for sin is death (Ecclesiastes 9:5 proves hell is a metaphor in the Bible, and so does Jesus dying for sins, not going to Hell for them). All it’s saying is that if you don’t give up sin is that you will not be granted Eternal life by God. Not for Christians to kill homosexuals.

Also, for anyone who wants to read the REAL Islamic rules of war, click here.
This is what Islam says about murder.

^Please, show your teacher these verses, Chibi.

Religious intolerance is something I never tolerate. If someone critisizes my beliefs and views, I attack them. Otherwise, I will leave the person alone. But people who attack peoples beliefs for no reason, or just out of uneducated ignorance, I cannot respect nor will I treat them nicely.

You shouldn’t attack him. That would just cause people to think you can’t be civilized, and then more sterotypes are caused. Thats probably the last thing you need.

A molecule is a single small piece of a mass. We are many, many different types that come together and form chemical reactions. We are not a single molecule. You were not thinking too hard, were you?

Now I know what that is.

Our brain processes things like light through our eyes which capture light reflected off of objects and projects an image in our head.
