YO SO I STRATED THIS DICOUSIN BECAUSE ITS GOING TO BE 2005 IN A LITTLE WHILE SO. SO THIS YEAR THERES GOING TO BE TWO NEW SYESTEMS THE XEON AND THE PS3 WICH IS GOING TO BE BIGGER THESE TWO SYSTEMS ARE GOING TO BE THE BIGGEST RIVALS EVER.

NIVDA IS RIVALS WITH ATI AND ATI WILL BE WORKING FOR THE PS3 AND NIVDA WILL BE WORKING FOR XEON.
THIS WILL BE A BIG ASS FACE OFF

AND WILL NINTENDO GET KNOCKED OUT LIKE DREAM CAST DID AND STRAT MAKING GAMES FOR MICROSOFT AND SONY LIKE THE DREAMCAST DID.

The PS3 is going to stomp all over Xbox 2 the xbox is only improving ther graphics a little. The PS3 on the other hand is improving the graphics a shit load. Im talkin all CG graphics. And the game for the PS3 are alot better too. They have Grand Trusmo(srry for spellin), they have metal Gear solid, Final Fantasy’s and alot more. But all xbox has is Halo wich is probably the cooles game I have ever played but PS3 is going to be alot better. The nintendo will stay in bussiness because its more of a little kids system so parents like a little better not so much killing. AND ZELDA IS COMING BACK TO 3D GRAPHICS. I AM SO HAPPY

And for the games that r comin out on each system u said “and alot more” about PS3 but i can only count three games thatll make a significent difference. GTA, Metal Gear Solid, and Grand Tourismo. Final Fantasy sux ass!!! And Zeldas cool and all but too much off a kid game. And most of the other games are on both systems. And yes Xbox only has Halo as its major contributor but how i see it is bungie will continually make Halo sequels and with all this money they can make other cool games. And what about Star Wars KOTOR? Its the #1 rpg game! Remember Sony is goin on PS3 so it has had a few years behind it. Microsoft is just goin into the 2nd Xbox. I dont remember PS having alot of extremely great games when it was goin into PS2!

Yeah i bet nintendo will fall i mean nintendo had no new system plans and no one is going to buy a gamecube when the xbox 2 and ps3 come out, no one is going to buy the ds with the sony psp coming out. Also nintendo also has more challenges because of the phantom.

First of all I know you are not Bill Gates because you did not even capitlize the first letter in your sentence. Also second of all Sony and Microsoft are head and head right now. Third of all Microsoft workers on the phone line for Xbox Live dont even know what a Gamer Tag is. Fourth I am going to be so angry if you dont even get some downloadble content for Halo 2.

Most of you have forgotten what this is about. The Xeon is much more powerful that whatever the PS3 has to offer, though I hear from sources the processor will be a 6 ghz for the ps3.

Sure, the Xeon may have better graphics, but sony has alot of deals with 3rd party developers. Microsoft doesn’t have as much.

Well I hate to tell you guys this, but at this current moment, the Xeon beats most processors off the bat and I’m pretty sure that Microsoft is willing to spend a lot of money on it and they wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t worth it. The ps3 will be very nice but the xbox2 will be better.

Not saying PS2 was crap, but the capabilities of XBOX always won the vote. but niehter is better, its all down to choice of users (debatable). however XBOX 2 v PS3, i can’t see a definite winner. PS3 is reported to be given a 3.5 - 4Ghz CPU, XBOX 2 (not Xeon or Xenon) will have 5Ghz. the graphics base, XBOX2 will be better )Hardware wise) although they MIGHT not be using Nvidia XGPU/VPU, will still perform better than any “emothion” engine development that Sony use. however PS3 will be using Blue Ray BD Disc technology (which may push the release date back) which will aloow much more content on their new style discs. XBOX, however may still use conventional DVD (Shame if they do). Agian possibilities for PS3 will be amazing, but XBOX2 will still win over many hearts. and the amazing thing with XBOX microsft wasn’t all that bothered about the competition, because they know the possibilites XBOX/XBOX 2 has/will have - more so due to the software, development, coding and the fact that its a PC.
