Zoro’s sword is made up of something stronger than steel. Regular swords would break after going through a fight with Zoro. Going against spinning steel blades, cutting huge trains in half, cutting through huge stone blocks, cutting through Rankakyu which was an air-pressure attack known to slice....

Since Susanoo can cut, it can be blocked. It goes both ways. And comparing real world myths to Naruto isn’t the best proof.
