You need to watch the whole thing. The beginning he is slow, but he gets so much better later on.

Flo is an excellent drummer, he can even play some really amazing jazz and blues stuff, but have you ever heard any of Mike Portnoy’s drum solo’s? They’re fucking insane.

Mike is very good. I was just never too big with Dream Theatre though.

Flo is brilliant with his combo of Jazz and Technical drumming. Gives it an intense, yet groovy sound.

I think they are still great. But everyone just doesnt like them cuz they sound like a different band. >.<

I bet you anything if it was a different new band that sounded like them, you would like it.

Yeah Dream Theater isn’t my favorite, thats for sure, but some of their music is pretty good, really technical actually. I can’t understand how those guys remember how to play some of those songs. I have one of their live dvd’s and some of the songs are like 20 minutes long but it never gets boring, their songs are not repetitive at all so it doesn’t ever get old.

It is hard for any band to remember technical riffs like that. I can’t remember them for shit.
