Think about the way the game is played and how much contact is involved in both.. fawk. Watch a hockey game and watch a basketball game. Which one has more fights and hits in it?... 5-5. Thats kinda sad, must be alot of die-hard basketball fans on here.

though they seem the same to me exceept one is played on ice and one is played on pavment.
one has nets one has hoops.
