I thought he would do that as well. And he was a baby in that movie. But Godzilla is a bitchin monster who kicks ass and takes names. I think it might end up in a tie.

I don’t think so, since Godzilla has the ability to regenerate from his injuries. Not to forget the fact that he can emit radiation from his body.
He could spawn a bunch and attack while thelittle ones were attacking. The little ones might only be a distraction but that helps.
If they can destroy his whole body, then they have a chance of winning. Other than that, there is no chance.
This is one of his major battles.
They might do serious damage to his body. If one bite could explode a person, just imagine if all of them bit him. They could crawl in to his mouth as well and tear him up from the inside. Godzilla might not blow up but enough damge would be done for Clover to destroy him.

Not fully, since he can regenerate from his cells. Taking on two of the most powerful Kaiju, and defeated, but not dead.
