Dude the second one kciked the shit out of the first. In the first u could only have like 1000 troops. In the second one u can set ur command point limit all the way up to 8000.

its....100x....so its 50,000 command points....
for real?! Holy crap! I set it to the max and only got it up to like 6,000 command points. But that was because i got bored and quit.

Seriously I just didnt like the feel of the second one. Did you have it on 360? That might have made the difference.
In the first a very fun thing to do was make it a big map, get everyone to be against you but on easy (so they cant use siege weapons) then wait until their entire army is at your gate then make your army full of archers with fire arrows and such. Then you kill from the walls then go on a rampage >. Couldnt do that in Number 2 (no set castles)
