The game looks like crap though. The technical part is amazing but after playing the first game I don’t see any of their additions fixing the gameplay. Why can’t I shoot when I run?! Having to be against a wall or behind cover in order to get your bullets to hit was retarded. I remember all the times when 2 or more people would be in the open right by each other and running around trying hit each other. The controls really made it difficult, goofy, and annoying.
In reference to the highlighted section in the above statement... What game were you playing because I know it wasn’t GoW on the 360. I have played that game for nearly 2 yrs now and I have never had any trouble firing while I’m running, nor have I had to be “in cover” to get my bullets to connect with my targets.
It most certainly was Gears of War. I’ll tell you a secret. You never had problems because you’re a nerd. Nerds never have problems with games they like. That was 1 Gears of Wars bigger flaws. It had funky controls when it came to running and gunning.
Haha
The controls were a little strange at first, but once you got hang of it, they were actually very innovative 3rd Person Shooter controls which were in fact very innovative for the genre.
I’m not talking about the overall the controls.
I’m talking about the controls when it came to running and gunning. That part was far from innovative. In fact, it was dinoshit. Except the chainsaw. That was the best part.
The controls were fine but not 'innovative'. 007 and Rainbow Six did it before Gears of War or better.
Haha
When we all get our Gears 2 and enjoy the ever living fuck out of it, saying how righteous it is, I’m sure you’ll sit there bitching about gears 1 still. Hahaha
And I’m sure a pedo will still be roaming the forums.

Well maybe it was bad for running and gunning because when you go past the casual difficulty setting it was all about using cover... Hmmm DEDEDE
Then tell me why in Rainbow Six, a game with a better duck and cover system that was all about using cover, didn’t have control issues when it came to running and gunning.
Oh, and I was talking about controls and not difficulty... Hmmm

Because it was designed to use both, where as gears, was designed to force the player to use cover,
And you said the controls were bad for running and gunning, which the game wasn’t even about... DEDEDE

Fuck that! Gears of War is what GRAWs controls should have been. I love GRAW 1 and 2 but I’d say this to my death that Gears of War is what GRAWs controls should have been. GRAW has the clunkiest, slow reacting controls I’ve ever played in a shooter.

Actually I’m 29 and 20 year old hotties still think I’m cute. Soo, basically if you’re ever not nerdy enough to go the a club, That chick you want would want me over you. That and a baldy getting any real chicks. lol
There is difference between a 29 year old doing shit like that with 20 year olds and a 29 year old doing that crap with teenagers on the internet.
No, I don’t care about PS3 vs 360. I just like to stir things up a bit.

Okay, go to N4G.com and chat on there. The adult gamers are the majority on that site (but they’re mostly nerds and 40 year old PS3 Fans). Dude, If I want to play a game every once in awhile at my age, then I will. That does’nt make me a nerd. But that has nothing to do with the fact that Gears 2 blows MGS, RE2 and KZ2 out of the water which are both facts.

I never said you were a nerd. I’m not interested in MGS4. Gears will probably blow Resistance and RE2 out of the water but it is highly unlikely that it will blow MGS4 out of the water. I’m not a fan of MGS4 and I know this. It’s just not going to happen.

I think it will mainly because even Kojima is disappointed with the final product of MGS4... and that’s sad
true, but shouldn’t he be happy with the majority of it though?
I know it will be a great game, but how good is it gonna be if he’s not very thrilled about it?
