The first time he claimed I had made a strawman, he called my argument a Christian one. Even though I wasn’t Christian. Sounds like a strawman to me. He calls everything a fallacy, matter of fact. Even if it’s a question, a comment or a joke.
He gets pissed off if you correct his spelling or grammar, but he thinks getting the definiton of “theory” wrong is a crime worthy of death.

He argues in an offensive way. We wouldn’t mind if he was like Chibi and could argue against religion without being insulting but he doesn’t.
He says there are no religions which weren’t founded by primitive people.

I would agree that largely because of a particular belief being held in a position of power, it has kept a society from moving in progressive manner. Like the idea of molecules, the shape of the world... to name a couple common examples anyway. Pretty much if you didn’t believe these “facts” you were imprisoned or worse.
Religion is very much for the idea that if its not completely broken, then don’t fix it... wanting to hold on to tradition, rather than take the risk to improve.

Why don’t you go read through the topics yourself. There have been topics where he tried to disprove God through irrelevant 'evidence'.
The point is if he shows irrelevant evidence that has nothing to do with what’s being argued then obviously people are going to say that it’s not proof. It’s his fault, not theirs.

It contracts the Bible but contradicting the Bible does not prove whether or not God exists. It just proves the Bible was written by man and man’s beliefs ABOUT God or what happened are wrong or at least partially wrong. There is a BIG difference between the two.
Don’t assume that proving the Bible has flaws means that you just proved God does not exist. It just proves that the Bible is not perfect or always right.

That’s basically what Atheism is. And I don’t know if we would call a being who is capable of wiping out stars supernatural, but that’s just my opinion. Unless you are talking about God or a “god”.
