its not an issue of survival. its a simple question of conservation of energy. animals use energy to breathe, to hunt, to think, hell, even to digest. no fresh energy would be coming in, but energy would be leaving. that can only lead to one thing. the death of all animals dependent on this energy.

you said carnivore. do you know what a carnivore is? it is an animal that eats only meat. there are carnivorous plants, but they are still plants, and thus not carnivores.
no carnivore is a diet plant is a kingdom so being a plant means you can be a carnivore you can also be omnivorus a herbivore or a insectivor not sure what photosynthesising is
No. Lets say this world has three species, all carnivores. Top predator eats mid predator. Mid predator eats small predator. What does the small predator eat? Mid and top predator are too big and strong for him to hunt. It dies off. That leaves the middle predator nothing to eat. It dies. Then the Top predator starves and dies.

I was thinking avout that what the primary energy source of this planet it can’t be a sun how about chemical.

small eat small? or medium eat small and medium?
Then there would be no mating. In other words, no expansion of the species. They will just keep killing each other until they are dead.

no the primary source has to be meat and absolutely no plant for it to be carnivorous meat suplemented by chemical sure

But it needs to be a primary source unless the planet happens to be Ego the living planet.

all the live organisms that are eaten by fish have some energy, so then the ones that ate the fish could function on the energy thats left.

But they also have other prey. They perfer eating other animals than themselves, so there would still be mating going on.

all animals get their energy from plants, one way or annother. carnivores get their energy from other animals, which got their energy from plants. without plants, it would last for a bit, but all species would die out really quick. thus, it wouldn’t really function properly.
