Secondly, some people may view their situation as literately worse than death (I.E. quadriplegia) and if they are in such a situation they will want to die rather than suffer.
However I do understand as well there would be complications that would need to be worked out to make sure it isn’t just a blind “he wants to die let’s kill him” type of scenario. I also know how morally questionable it is, but some situations can be equated to torture, which we also see as inhumane.

I mean if you want to kill yourself, do drugs, ect then you should be allowed to. It’s just if something happens to you it’s your own fault. Own personal responsibility.
As long as your actions don’t infringe on other people’s rights, then it should be legal. Good example is drinking should be legal but of course driving drunk isn’t for the said reason.

But where do we draw the line? One person offing themselves a few months or even years before they die may hurt their family and friends who enjoy their company. Although if they really cared about the person they would allow them to do what they wish and respect their decision.
