@ Nihilus, Cloud can react to lightning, and point blankers.
It’s not all about lightning. He has more than simple force lightning. Can he react to a force storm?

Buster Sword Guest | No I was just talking about his reflexes, he’s a lightning timer, I dunno if force storm is faster than lightning, is it?

Force Storm was a Force lightning variant. The user would raise his palm upward and would create, through the Force, an explosion of electrical energy directed at all foes in the vicinity. It was used by both the Sith and Dark Jedi during the Jedi Civil War.
Unlike the Force lightning, Force Storm was not limited to attacking enemies in one direction, as it affected all foes within a certain radius from the user. Revan and the Jedi Exile may have been masters of this particular power. Darth Bane was also a notable user of this power, being able to call upon a nearly uncontrollable Force Storm shortly after having been thaught the basics of Force Lightning by Githany, who herself had only learnt the power the same day from Quordis.
I don’t think speed will be a factor here.

Buster Sword Guest | Well if it’s coming at him at multiple directions I can see a problem, but Zack in Last Order evades bullets from multiple directions, I know lightning > bullets. But Cloud is > Zack. So there’s a chance he could still evade it, after all he has evaded Sephiroth from behind.
What’s Nihilus’s durability like then? 'cause I mean if Cloud gets close enough he could hurt him, it would probably be best for Nihilus to keep Cloud at a distance.

Buster Sword Guest | Cloud’s the underdog, but then again Cloud has a habit of beating gods :P
I think Cloud would defo' need Omnislash, as this is above planet busting in the sense of it killing someone who could take on the planets energy.
Even though Nihilus may forsee this attack, the original Omnislash was in the 'Blink of an eye.' 14 slices. I’m Sure the AC version is much faster as he leaves after images

Then again, he could stop him in his tracks with the force, since he can forsee his attack as you say. The force is a powerful thing, though Cloud does have a habit of being unexpected. He could win this.

Buster Sword Guest | I know precognition is the advantage for the force user, but they have to be able to react too, but I do see your point, as you say it can go either way, I wouldn’t mind calling it a tie, as both have decent ways of owning each other, even though Cloud is still the under dog, due to lack of other powers that are not spiritual.

I don’t want to call it a tie at the moment, seeing as it ends threads too quickly. I’m must glad that the Goku vs Superman thread is over. That took forever to get locked. We finally ended with a draw.

Buster Sword Guest | Fair enough then, I don’t mind continuing this debate.
Oh I hated that thread, two of the worst fictional characters in a blood thirsty thread that never ended. Most people just agreed with the draw to simply end it, I can see why.

Yes, exactly my point. Both characters were starting to get overrated throughout the whole thread. It going on for far too long, and it had to be done. Anyway, this battle could go either way. A duel of the swords would suffice in this match. No special moves, no cheap shots.

Buster Sword Guest | Yeah that’s why I dislike them, they’re too damn generic and boring. Superman’s too 'perfect' and Goku is just a wannabe Superman prat.
Characters with flaws are much better.
Ah yes a sword duel would be a great battle, Nihilus would know the attacks, but Cloud would still be able to react to Nihilus’s attacks, I could see them both dying from exhaustion lol.

Haha, they would be bored to tears. Sephiroth vs Nihilus would be more exciting. And I like Vegeta better than Goku anyway, though he is my third favorite, third from Broly.

Buster Sword Guest | Yeah I could see them crying lol.
The thing is with a physical fight with Sephiroth, he doesn’t fatigue, which would give him the upper hand in sword fight.
Oh yeah Vegeta is better than Goku, even Gohan. Shit > Goku. But then again I’m not much of a DBZ, especially now that it’s getting the wrong attention.

Very, the same goes for Naruto. I mean, come on. We don’t even see many Yu Yu Hakusho debates these days. It’s kind of sad that only DC and DBZ attract the most attention here.

Buster Sword Guest | My mate wants me to watch it, I haven’t watched it yet, but looking across the net, comments and shit, it’s really putting me off.
Yeah it is sad that it’s mainly DC and DBZ, DBZ fans want to think they’re in a league with DC, but they just aren’t and never will be.

It just goes to show how far someone will go to make sure that their favorite character will win a battle. Which makes me feel ashamed.

We should start saying Nihilus and Cloud pwn all. LOL. The DBZ over esitmation was apparant on Advent Children Forums too, lol 'DBZ can bitch slap Marvel and DC.'
It just gets tiresome and repetative and just..well, lame.

Even better Idea. Darth Nihilus vs Goku. That would last awhile. hahahahaha
And Cloud Strife vs Naruto Uzumaki.
I would love to see all of the lulz in those topics.

Buster Sword Guest | Yeah Darth Nihilus beats Goku because he has a red lightsaber.
Cloud beats Naruto because he has two hot chicks after him.
I mean they’re valid enough right? LOL
