I did it and it was for this message that showed a picture of porn. The same perpetrator who did it asked for a permaban as well, on top of the other bans I have planned for him.
(And I just got back as well so I didn’t initially see the crap that he posted, which will be corrected. >.> ) ---

See, here’s the problem; you replied it back in a way that looks like you sent it to him, and he reported it. That’s still enough to ban you.
He, on the other hand, is gone for good.
