Yes, it does since Angel is a vampire and is still affected by Sunlight, unless this takes place in another realm and not on earth, then any other sun won’t work on Angel.

As long as it takes place in an alternate realm, then the suns from the other realms won’t hurt him. The earth’s sun will only affect him.
Anyway...Buffy beat Angel before when he was Angelus...while he has his soul it’s likely they wouldn’t fight, but considering the outcome of the first fight it’s more likely that Buffy would win...

They could have made Angel win, then Willow restoring his soul before he tried to kill Buffy. Essentially could have gone either way with the same effect.

(Prolly should read my post closer, lol. Buffy would have killed Angel if Willow hadn’t restored his soul. The same could have gone the opposite way.)
If it’s from his series, then it might be a tie, since the acts they each accomplish are fairly equal. Of course there are the things Angel has taken out, like the devils, but Buffy has taken down Angel before, both of which are still canonical.
