Vincent Valentine

VS

Vash the Stampede

Vincent is barred from using any of his transformations and his primary weapon is his initial equip. He also doesn’t have access to his materia.

Vash cannot use his Angel Arm, boot knife, or arm machine gun.

This is a battle between two superb gunman. Who has more skill? Vinny or Vashy?

I’ma personally go with Vash here. But I’m curious to see what others would say.

Well, Vincent might have better speed. I don’t know. That is a big factor and durability too...

Actually, I think Vash has the advantage on speed. For one, he’s a bullet timer. He’s able to not only dodge the bullets but dodge them at unbelievably close ranges. In the episode “Demon Eye” he was also able to unbutton Dominique’s blouse without anyone seeing him move. And since I did state that Vincent doesn’t have access to his transformations you can’t use his speed feats from DOC when he was in his chaos forms.

Is Vash allowed to do the S-Cry-Ed rip-off thing?
Angel arm whatever?

I was thinking of how he came out of nowhere in AC and saved Cloud.

Actually, Trigun is about 6 years older than S-Cry-Ed... >_>

And I stated in the first post that no, he doesn’t. But Vincent doesn’t have access to his transformations either.

I’ll give this one to Vash. Other than his regular gun, his submachine gun in his cybernetic arm would be of good use.

Well, I tried to make it as even as possible by eliminating such advantages... >_>

Doesn’t anybody read the first posts anymore?

Well near the end of DOC, Vincent learned to control Chaos without actually turning into him and he was fighting Weiss who before hand was like a blurr and then like normal after he got that little boost in power.

Yeah, but he was still tapping into Chaos' power. Which, in order to even things out, I’m preventing. If he taps into that power he blows Vash away with relative ease.

I think they’re closely matched in their normal forms, though. I’d give speed, accuracy, and intelligence to Vash while Vinny gets durability, strength, and agility.

Yeah. This is pretty close.

I try not to make one sided matches.

Suuuuure did old buddeh!

Anyways, I’m nearly 100% certain that Vash has Vinny beat on intelligence. Vash is said to have an IQ above that of most humans. When he was about a year old he and his brother Knives repaired something (can’t remember what it was) on the Project SEEDS ship in a few hours. When the normal repair man heard about it, he said it was impossible and it would take him 3 days to do the job. Their intelligence is well above that of humans.
