Should I convert from atheism to Christianity?

He commanded Joshua and the Israelites to kill all the people of Jericho, including the women and children. And finally, we all know the story of Noah where he flooded the earth, killing millions of people and billions of animals. Effectively destroying the planet while he was at it.

No.
Faith simply meant “belief” or “trust” in the old days before non religious people changed the definitions to suit their bias. In fact, it meant that as early back as the 20th century. Evidence or lack of it has nothing to with faith, in other words, which is simply confidence, belief or trust in something or someone. Unfortunately some religious people have fallen for it now and say “You must believe for no reason because it uses the word “faith” in the Bible (even though the original Bible would have been in a completely different language and thus used a different word with a different meaning to the modern definition)
