You haven’t shown any evidence because there is no evidence. You even admitted that it is your OPINION and VIEW. All you have shown is your own personal reasons for not going. It’s personal, which means it applies to you and only you.
You’ve shown perfectly good reason why religion is not good for you and how it makes you feel but you are making the assumption that everybody is in the same position that you’re in. The fact is they’re not.
No, I don’t have a problem with you expressing your views. But I do have a problem when you’re applying something that fits with you to everybody else when it doesn’t apply to them. That and the leeches argument. There are leeches but not all of them are leeches. I know people that go to church. Some are leeches but not all are. They have perfectly valid reasons to go just as you do for not going.
Don’t apply your reasons to other people. It’s like when some religious person says their reasons for going apply to me too, which they don’t.
And really I have no idea what tangents you are going on, and personally, I don’t think you have any idea what you are talking about anymore. All you keep saying is I’m telling people what they should believe in when really I’m just telling people my opinion and hoping for an open discussion on it, instead of accusations. Of course who knows what your doing right now. For all I know you could be talking about cheese.
--- It’s not about money. It’s about sending a message. Everything burns.
I am not acting as if beliefs should be an unspoken matter. That is why I am defending the right of people to choose whether or not to go to church and to express their beliefs.
What is bothering me is when someone applies their own person issues to somebody else who does not have those issues. You say to walk out but what reasons do they have for walking out?
They probably have little to none or they are trampled by their reasons to go to church where they feel they can express their beliefs.
You know, this defacing and throwing the fascism accusation and speech hating accusation around is kind of old. You can talk about your views but when I talk about my mine or point something out I’m automatically a fascist. I wasn’t even being an ass about it. You may have taken my tone the wrong way because I wasn’t yelling anything like that. My tone was as civil as I could put it on the internet.
Seriously what the hell are you even talking about anymore.
So let’s start again. Hi I’m Zucas and I believe that no one can believe the exact same thing entirely. If I was to tell my entire list of beliefs to everyone in the world, eventually everyone would raise their hand and say I disagree with something in that list. That is what I think thus I have the opinion that organized religion is not important considering I believe it to be impossible for someone that is completely real with what they think. Take it for what its worth, but don’t tell me I’m preaching when I’m simply sharing an opinion in hope for debate.
Now your turn is to either agree or quietly disagree and then give me a counter opinion instead of all this other nonsense that I ahve no idea what is going on.

You know what. I have a few months left. I’m not going to waste my time with crap like this. I came in and put down what I honestly know, see, and/or have experienced. I put it down in a civil manner and said it in an intelligent and as peer to peer, scholarly way way as I could. Perhaps you meant something else in your posts bit I missed it because they were badly worded and could have meant several different things. My whole family are a bunch of leeches because they go to church now. I defended them without tearing you to shreds and labeling you a fascist, which you’re not. Thank you. I’m going to go live my next few months talking to people who won’t deface and will actually act like friends before I am mocked further. I’ll enjoy my last few months living life before I go through hell for you. Very fascist of me indeed.
Wow looking back I was quite a jackass. Haha well I finally do see your point 21. Too late I suppose, but I still don’t really see what it has to do with what I’m saying but I’m glad we agreed given the upper post.
I understand why people go to church but it doesn’t mean I still can’t ask why now does it.

Man you where way more of a jackass then I have ever been, and OP didnt resort to personal insults wtf, are you 2 buddys? anyway, I believe that all beliefs should be justifiyed before being accepted..

Al Baqarah(62)
[2.62] Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve.
