No, because Adam and Eve already had the option to eat the fruit, but they didn’t.
Satan told them it would make them gods, so they ate the fruit.

Actually ChaosSpartan, the devil told them nothing but the truth. He never said it will turn them into gods, only that it will make them like gods through the knowledge of good and evil. It is actually God that lied. He told them that they would die if they ate or even touched the fruit.
Secondly for everyone, there is nothing that says that the serpent was “Satan”. It just mentions it is just another one of god’s creature, its just subtle and cunning.

BTW, god made hell... not Satan. And it is god who allows and continues to allow hell to exist... not Satan. And it is god who allows those people to suffer in hell... not Satan.

Good and evil was always there. It’s just that God shielded Adam and Eve from evil until they ate of the fruit. So technically, Satan didn’t give us anything but evil. It’s Satan’s fault we feel pain, Satan’s fault we have to worry about being killed, raped, mugged, ect.
And most importantly, it’s Satan’s fault that the really hot chick in the desk beside you isn’t naked.
perhaps, but its all that bad stuff that makes life more fun and interesting. I prefer some pain in my life to none, simply because it makes the good things better. Its like those damned new “child-damage resistant playgrounds”, they just aren’t as fun as the ones that kids would occasionally get hurt (or possibly die) on.
I can’t imagine how freakin bored I’d be if nothing negative were to EVER happen to me. I could see myself ending my own life if I wasn’t such an ignorant, naive, grazing cow still in Eden.
evil is just a matter perception. I don’t see falling off my bike and breaking my arm as evil. I see it just as a personal negative. I don’t believe there is any such thing as “Evil”, in its biblical definition, in the universe.
