RedIsRed Guest | Hey folks,
Does infinity exist, and if it does can you prove it? Or is infinity just something we assume to exist, without ever proving it.
My heads been spinning over this one. Please help me before I explode!

As a term, yes. Otherwise, no.

RedIsRed Guest | So because it’s unprovable it means it doesn’t exist?
Does logical verification make something true, or not true? What is the standard?
Your making me even more confused that I already am.

RedIsRed Guest | Since it’s out of the realm of our mindly intelligence it shouldn’t be assumed to exist. Right?
Btw, RED IS RED, stop bleeping with reality

What would you do if you knew whether infinity existed or not?

RedIsRed Guest | If I know infinity was a real concept, it would be easier to believe in other abstractions such as aliens, God, spirits, supernatural occurences, etc.
The real question, then is:
If we can’t verify a given abstract concept due to mind limitations, does it mean it isn’t true?

Here’s a simple answer for your first question:
How the hell should I know?
As for your 'real' question:
The answer is yes and no. In other words, how the hell should I know?
It’s basically asking 'IF TREE FALLS IN A FOREST AND NO ONES THAR TO HEAR IT DOES IT MAKE A SOUND?'
People have different opinions, so we can’t really come up with a true answer until we can PROVE it.

RedIsRed Guest | I don’t expect you to know the answer.
My hope was to instill a respect for the pseudosciences.
I’ve had plenty enough of people ridiculing my beliefs with their human philosophies. So I’m throwing a shot back, at all those who dare question my faith.
I have the right to trust a religion, whether or not it is verifiable. You don’t need to “see something” in order to “believe it”. And believing something that you don’t see doesn’t necessarily mean you’re stupid.
