Not particularly, unless my afterlife was perfect. Otherwise life is not particularly something I want to live forever. Couldn’t imagine immortality without perfection.

Eh, rather not. Incase they lose their temper. Something that powerful could easily become corrupt and evil or apathetic to the welfare of inferior creatures.
I would like to note though; I believe Gods may exist in the future or now even if they didn’t exist at the beginning of the universe. In other words, I see a God-like power as a potential evolutionary stage beyond our level of sapience.

There is a good chance that their are powerful beings(which I would call gods) around.
--- Theory does not mean an unsubstantiated guess or hunch, as it can in everyday speech. A theory is a logically self-consistent model or framework for describing the behavior of a related set of natural or social phenomena.

I have always stated this...

Only if there is one God. I can’t envision multiple gods waging warfare on one another. Or worst yet, influencing humans to choose which one to worship...
I’d prefer there to remain NO god, cause I don’t want him coming around and screwing up this fine universe. It’s fine the way it is without him.
We all already know from politics that one point of view isn’t always everyone’s point of view. Some omnipotent being enforcing his idea of what is “better” is the last thing we need.
"We all already know from politics that one point of view isn’t always everyone’s point of view."
Why are you comparing human politics with an omniscient God? If we had one God leader, wouldn’t He be wise enough to formulate one point of view that would suffice all of our needs.
If that one God was good (in relation to our human desires) He wouldn’t screw up our universe, would he?
That depends... If god will create a perfect world for all of mankind to coexist with each other, along with no more racism, hatred, creed, and ect, sure I would like to have a god, but I wouldn’t worship him. And I also wouldn’t want a god because I don’t need some dicator telling me what to do or what to think, not to mention that if he is a god ... he has access to all of our thoughts and he can be watching us at anytime ( invasion of privacy, and chances of god being pervert).
