I’m still here...I just fail to see anything to be open minded about...
Not sure if I put this one on mvc or not yet, but I wrote this one a few nights ago.
Can you smell the cold fear? Hear the howl of the moon? The dread creeping near, the end is it soon? The fright in full flight, the nightmare begins, the blood that shall flow will cleanse all your sins, don’t be shy.
Tell me how, could a life, that has bare-ly lived, god help us all, what we had done, she was barely a kid. Oh the horror that we saw and the things that we did. We are all going to hell, wont you come dine with the devil tonight.
Oh my god, here it comes, the stench of my death, the clouds in the air, how much time I have left, is draining away, I wish I could stay, but the sands have run down and I feel I must go, take my leave.
Lord please forgive me, for the evil I have done, although in past reflection I thought it was fun. The screams cut the air, like an audible scythe, A splash of red blood and the twist of the knife. Thrashing about a life barely lived. God please forgive me, she was only a kid.
The cuffs they come off, as they lead me along, the cups how they clang, the noise of the rows. The faces look on, a smile and a cheer, a pang of regret slips in past my fear. Was it worth all of this, the sorrowful end, a chemical sleep, a cold needle friend?
I wander back to the day, as they strap me to the chair, The day that I saw her, lil sally of the fair. The power that was felt, the blood oh of course, the lessons that we taught her, the struggles as she fought. How it was fun, but the feelings are an empty thing, It seems that my lesson is about to begin.
The moon shines in, The fear digs deep, the needle kisses skin but I shall not weep. I smile so politely as I look into the stands, Oh how they have gathered, loved ones and fans.
The machine pumps out its chemical death, one time then another, it steals my last breath. I finally close my eyes and with my last prayer, I thank god for my dear sally of the fair.
