For Itachi: Why I Believe Religion Is Bullshit, and God Does Not Exist

Itachi has recently been attacking me for my Nihilistic beliefs and thinks I am in denial. Really, only recently (a year or less ago) I am no longer in denial. And what was I in denial from? That God does not exist, Religion is hate, and the idea of God is slavery.

Why do I believe in these ideas you ask?

My story is after a long chain of events of stress and depression throughout my life. Eventually I came to the idea God does not exist. I became in denial of this and tried to get tighter with my religion (Judaism) so I went to synagogue more often. I read verses from the Torah. I even read other religious books to feel more connected. I read the Bible, and some of the Qu’ran. As I read these books I found a strong amount of hypocrisy throughout. I found a sense of hate from this so called “loving God." This loving God of ours tells us to kill our own children? Kill people that do not believe the same ideas you have? To hate the African Americans? To enslave people that are different? And even though these things were said, God said to never commit murder, and to respect others. I find that to be bullshit.

Also comes the idea, why did God not make everything perfect?

God supposedly has this power to make everything perfect? Why can’t he use it? He loves each and every one of us, yet he tries to have fun be throwing war and hate into the game. He does not want to help our problems, he wants sin in this world. He could have eliminated sin, but no. God could have eliminated “satan” but no. God won’t help us even though he can do whatever he wants without even really thinking of it. Where is God in these hard times?

Okay.

I really don’t find anything wrong with Gplex. He states his own ideas on religion. People just take it offensively because it is different from what they believe.

True, but complaining over an over on different topics is not the way to get people to listen to you, but that’s just my opinion on the matter.

yea, I was just going to ask why petrofsky is “becoming another Gplex”.... whatever that means. From what I just read, Petrofsky is just stating what he believes, and why. Is that the start of a darker path or something? Stating what you believe? Its not even as if he was preaching. He told no one to convert, and told no one that they are wrong.

Although, I suppose something to be expected, that is because of the atheist viewpoint vs the christian viewpoint, since atheism denies everything that christian believe... simply stating that one is an atheist in a christian’s presence automatically says to the christian that the atheist thinks he/she is wrong.

Actually, he attacks people and their beliefs and breeds hate. He doesn’t believe in God and thinks that everybody who does is bad.

I personally don’t give a rat’s ass about religion anymore. God’s never done good for me, so I don’t care whether he exists or not. But I don’t show disrespect toward any person and their beliefs. That’s why Gplex is hated, he doesn’t simply post an opinion, he disrespects people’s lifestyles.

I never show disrespect to anyone unless they show disrespect to me. I just stated one day that I am a nihilist, and then Itachi starts to crack stupid jokes like “You believe in nothing HAHA” and “You are a demon” and such.

The only reason I can think that no one really mentions how much of an ass Itachi is, is simply because its not worth it.... Its like arguing with a little kid. No one is going to help you, and if you fight back too hard, it just makes you look bad. As unfair as this is, I pity Itachi for being reduced in the eyes of his peers to a 4 year old trying to start a spit fight.

Actually... I just don’t care about what he says. The only reason I’m offended even slightly by Gplex is because my Parents are both firm followers of Christ. My father’s even a registered bishop and preaches all over the country.

I’m curious. If I said that I don’t believe a god exists, which naturally means I think people that do believe there is a god are wrong... is that insulting?

I don’t think so. Everyone has their own beliefs and views, which should be respected, though you don’t have to like it.
