Both are shadowy figures. Both are experts of hand to hand combat and the use of throwing weapons. Both are sometimes portrayed wearing bullet proof body armor.
V is an expert of masterminding elaborate plans to defeat his enemies.
Batman is and expert at escaping from elaborate plans created by his enemies.
Batman has a super computer.
V hacked the integrated computer system of an entire dictatorship.
It would be a good fight to see. Maybe one day it would happen. Then again, they would probably end up teaming during the middle of the comic if they did. But just to make it fair, both should get prep time, and know at least something about the other.
Oh but of course, prep time is a big part of how both of them operate. I think with enough prep time though V could win. He hacked FATE in the comics, I can’t imagine the bat computer would be easy after that. Once inside he can mislead Batman’s efforts and possibly plant viruses in the central computers of the Batmobile, Bat wing, and any other bat vehicle which has a computer.
But then again Batman could potentially discover the hack, trace it and catch V off guard. If that happened I think V would be screwed as his plans generally take considerable preparation.
I think Batman has superior martial arts training. V is formidable but from the books and film I don’t get the sense that he devoted as much effort to martial arts as he did to other skills and education. In the comics I don’t recall him doing much fighting at all. In the film he takes out those soldiers, but Batman takes out four ninjas in his film, and I’d wager the ninjas were better at hand to hand.
Well he’s never seen using a gun. Explosives are his big thing. His knowledge of chemistry is pretty amazing since he was able to make ammonium nitrate based explosives and cyanide gas while at the same time making it look like he was merely insane and making random patterns out of fertilizer.
Well he didn’t really die, because he’s a symbol, anyone can be V so long as they take up his cause.
Huh I suppose I just found the flaw in this fight. Both characters are symbolic and train successors who replace themselves. So essentially the fight could go on forever.
A draw would suffice. haha They’d go on fighting for hours and decide to end it by Batman saying, want to the mansion? I’m done fighting. I’ve got beer.
