SpeedofSound Guest | It depends on the size, color of the object, and how far away you are from it really. But you can clearly see a Nascar Stock car and they travel at speeds close to 200 mph. A fighter jet, which can break the sound barrier can be seen easily.
I’d honestly put a rough estimate of around 1000 mph for a man sized object, if it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb. For something wearing bright red clothing against a dark background, it’d be a lot easier to track it’s movements than if it was wearing black against the dark background.
So it’s relative. But I’d put an average at 1000 mph.
You could probably come up with a more solid number though, but using the maximum frame rate in which the mind processing images. And that’s around 100 fps.

Well from what I know its about 24 frames per second. After that speed you don’t clearly see every frame. You’ll see bits of every frame but not every frame indeed. You can visibly see 200 FPS, as you said, but you see blurs. About 24 FPS is fastest speed the human eye will see without not seeing every frame which we see as a blur. ---

Yes Blurs is what makes everything go sooo smooth...If you have ever seen a hi def video at 60 fps it looks like its stuttering but its not it just that it doesnt have blur which makes it look a lot slower...but the human eye can see the big diff between 60 fps and 30 fps ---

I mean have you ever wondered why you play a game at 60 FPS for long periods of times your eyes start to hurt. One reason is lack of blinking. But another reason is the eye’s inability to read all 60 frames in a second, causing kind of an overload. Thus it strains them to view it causing irritation and pain. Same reason why you get headaches from playing them as it overloads the brain. And the same reason why there are seizure warnings for video games. ---

It depends on how far away it is. I could easily see a planet moving through the sky at several times the speed of sound without it seeming like it was moving at all, but I couldn’t make out a bullet whizzing past my face at mach 1.
Speed is entirely relative and perceived speed is relative to how far away something is from the observer.
