I highly suggest putting one or two of your most trusted admins into a slightly higher position than the other admins. Meaning, those two can’t be banned by the other moderators.
My personal suggestion on this front would be Firewolf because I honestly believe he’s the best moderator this site has ever had. Not to mention he does remain fairly active on the forums. More than enough to handle any problems that may arise, god forbid they ever do.
So, show of hands for Firewolf as a Super Admin?

Of course the final decision should be entirely up to you Bjarne. If GR was more active I’d easily suggest him as he seems to be the one Admin most likely to not turn their back on the site. But I fear he’s not online enough to be able to swiftly react to most situations.

A second suggestion would be to make it to where it takes two Administrators hitting the ban button in order for a single admin to be banned. This was proposed by crimson phoenix, it seems more complicated to implement, but gets rid of the threat that the super admin would turn.
bad idea. unless you didn’t realize, green ninja was highly trusted. as fun as this was... um. nevermind... it’s a good idea! this way the codec would never be taken back! total anarchy!
I think the idea might be a good one, however whats the worse that can happen if such a thing isn’t implimented. This is bound to be a rare occurance and will most likely not happen again anytime soon.
The site is repairable by Bjarne and everything has been restored. I am inclined to say that such a position is mostly redundant unless Bjarne wishes to have the extra security. I hardly feel it is necesitated by the events of the last 12 hrs.
I personally agree that we should have it to two mods to ban one. We often have enough on, it would prevent something like this from happening, and technically, Bjarne is supposed to be the one able to ban moderators instantly. At least with a consensual minimum of two, it makes it seem as if he has more power over that, and obviously prevents these things from happening.
Oh hell, the guy seems to threaten other members for the fun of it.

I completely agree, but it’s not without it’s own share of possible problems.

Mainly two moderators who are close to one another doing the same thing.
