I would say your right about the inbetween thing not really on the level of the Presense but a good deal above Galactus and Celestials.

He’s virtually immortal, since he comes back every time like Sephiroth, can manipulate others, and has been shown to take over a person’s body. He also wields the Triforce of Power.

Personally I see Seph as Low Herald there are just a several on Mid Herald I don’t see him beating.

Not only did Kuja survive Kakazazee Ultima, which was aimed at not only the party but himself and the crystal of life too. At this point he killed the party and they ended up in another diminsion and fought Necron(A multidiminsional being in which was going to destroy all existance) well anyway, Kuja in BASE form was able to teleport the party back to Gaia. My proof:

Kuja: Did you comerades escape?
Zidane: Yeah..I knew you had something to do with it.

Well it pretty much indicates he teleported them out, it never really says that but it can be pretty safetly assumed.

Well anyway, I don’t know what Tier he would be on but he would be on the same with Sephiroth. Kuja destroyed a planet in less than 1 minute and even survived it’s destruction.
