Honestly I think it almost falls under the category of common-fracking-sense, but, regardless of that opinion, malicious links should be against the rules. (Even though we pretty much already enforce it as such)
As Ty said, its pretty much a given. If someonbe posts harmful sites on MVC, they get banned for their troubles. Its not like they just stumbled upon some random site and posted a link. They know what it does and they did it on purpose to cause problems. Thats what makes it bannable.
Normally I give them a week if its something minor and longer if its not or if they have a prior history.
of course this is just the way I conduct things and other moderators may choose to do otherwise.

true. i will ban for a week minimum. i normally do the 3 month ip ban and a perma ban for the second offense.
